As noted before, Penelope Ford has been out of action for AEW since suffering a sprained ankle injury during her AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match at the February 25th AEW Dynamite show in Denver, Colorado.
AEW CEO Tony Khan provided an update on Saturday on Twitter prior to the start of that night’s AEW Collision show stating that Ford is currently expected to be out of action for as little as a few weeks to as long as possibly a few months.
“It looks like, unfortunately, (Ford) will be out with an injury maybe for weeks, but possibly even up to months.”
