Ricochet Issues Apology To Fan Following Controversial Social Media Post

Ricochet has been facing online negative backlash over a recent controversial post he made on social media towards a fan.

This incident revolved around AEW releasing a digital exclusive backstage video on Twitter featuring Ricochet reacting to his AEW National Championship loss in a Blackjack Battle Royale match at this past Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026.

One fan defended Ricochet over people being rude to him on social media leading to another fan responding stating “πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚His acting hasn’t improved.” Ricochet responded back to this fan in a now deleted tweet stating “I’m glad you got MS” in reference to this fan who had revealed on social media that they suffer from multiple sclerosis.

Ricochet issued an official statement on Tuesday apologizing for his hurtful comments towards the fan and those who are effected by MS.

“I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize.

Moving forward I’ll do better.”

Prior to his apology, Ricochet had initially defended his actions calling out those who have been saying vile things about him and his wife and former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin on social media.

“Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little bitches who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little bitches can’t take it when I do it back to people. Fucking pussies, everywhere.”
