Johnny Gargano WWE Contract Status Update

Fightful Select reported that their sources denied recent rumors and specuation of Johnny Gargano’s contract with WWE expiring soon.

It was reported that those spoken to stated that Garagno remains firmly under contract with WWE.

Rumors of Gargano’s potential departure from WWE originated following Tommaso Ciampa’s departure from WWE and signing with AEW this past January. In recent weeks of WWE SmackDown shows, Gargano has been portraying a very depressed character following him losing Axiom’s mask that he originally had stolen from him. During last week’s show Gragano snapped out of it and issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room that led to him getting quickly squashed by Oba Femi.

El Hijo del Vikingo Comments on Him Being Hopeful of Joining WWE Main Roster Soon

Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with AAA talent El Hijo del Vikingo. One of the topics discussed included Vikingo’s thoughts about his upcoming match against Dominik Mysterio at AAA’s Rey de Reyes 2026 event this Saturday and him being hopeful of joining WWE’s main roster in the near future.

“After I defeat Dominik for the championship, I will enter the main roster of WWE. We already entered the video game [WWE 2K], now we are going to enter the main roster. Those are my short-term plans.”

Vikingo also gave his thoughts about who he is interested the most for potential opponents on WWE’s main roster.

“I had a lot of matches with Penta inside of AAA, out of Mexico, and a lot of other places. I would like to face Penta, Fenix, Dragon Lee, and Rey Mysterio now being in the main roster.”

New Partnership Deal with Drumsticks for Cody Rhodes Ice Cream

WWE announced that they have recently signed a new partnership deal with Drumsticks for the launch of new Cody Rhodes-themed ice cream bars.

Drumstick is partnering with WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, aka The American Nightmare, to launch new Red, White & Blueberry Drumstick cones!

The Drumsticks have a white confectionery coating (a first for Drumstick) with crispy rice pieces, strawberry flavored frozen dairy dessert, and a blueberry sauce center.

They will be available exclusively at Walmart for a limited time starting (edit:) April 6.
