WWE: Kit Wilson on His Singles Run Since Elton Prince’s Injury, Mark Coffey Reveals Guest Coach Work at Performance Center This Week, Danhausen Files New Trademark

Kit Wilson Comments on His Singles Run Since Elton Prince’s Injury

As noted before, Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince has been out of action for WWE since this past May due to a neck injury and neck fusion surgery.

The Sun held a recent interview with Kit Wilson. One of the topics discussed included Wilson’s thoughts about how he has received advice from many people since his Pretty Deadly tag team partner Prince was injured and his current singles run in WWE.

“I’ve had to spread my wings a bit [since Elton Prince got injured] and I talk to everyone. I do have a special connection with some of the NXT UK guys.

Me and Alba [Fyre] were sitting on the bleachers before SmackDown, hanging out and talking. Obviously she’s in a situation with Piper Niven who has a similar injury situation to Elton, so we’ve got that in common. We talk about that and other things.

I’m getting a lot of advice. The Miz has been a great help. Everyone has been very helpful and I could go through them and expose them all, but Sami Zayn and The Miz have been really good to pick their brains, get advice and bounce ideas off.”

Wilson also provided an update on Prince’s recovery from his neck fusion surgery.

“I don’t have any kind of breaking news update other than things are on track. He’s had the surgery, it went well and he’s hitting the markers as he should be. However, it’s still a long, long, long, long road ahead, if any.

We don’t talk too much about our future plans or situations.

Sometimes things will come up and we’ll talk a bit, but we’re kind of just letting life happen and we’re crossing our fingers.”
