We take a look back at last week’s episode of NXT.

Backstage: Shiloh Hill, Robert Stone, Tatum Paxley, Josh Briggs

Shiloh asks to go first in the eliminator.

Tatum Paxley shows up and wants to know where is Blake.

Stone says he hasn’t seen her.

Tatum says she has her title and Hill says he can help.

Josh Briggs wants to talk to Stone but he is taken away by a co-worker.

WrenQC (Wren Sinclair & Kendal Grey) vs. Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley)

Fallon and Wren start things off and Wren with a take down.  Fallon chokes Wren in the corner.  Wren with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Fallon with a forearm but Wren with a back elbow.  Wren with a back heel kick to Fallon but Fallon with a forearm.  Fallon with an Irish whip and an uppercut into the corner.  Reid tags in and his a splash into the corner followed by a snap mare.  Fallon with a forearm and Reid gets a near fall.  Wren with a head scissors take down and Grey tags in and Wren with a drop kick and Grey goes for a slingshot stomp but misses and rolls through.  Reid wit a forearm to the back of the head and a side head lock.

Elio LeFleur is in the back and he is holding his arm.

Back to the match, Wren gets a near fall with a jackknife cover.  Reid with an elbow and she sends Wren into the turnbuckles.  Fallon tags in an Wren with forearms to both women but Wren with a round kick to the head.  Wren with a shoulder tackle and a leap frog face plant.  Wren with a butterfly suplex.  Fallon with a waist lock and she misses a forearm.  Reid tags in and she hits a blockbuster.  Reid knocks Grey off the apron.  Reid gets a near fall followed by a leg drop.  Reid with a punch.  She sends Wren into the turnbuckles and tags in Fallon.  Fallon with a leg sweep and she chokes Wren in the corner.  Fallon with a snap mare and elbows to the back of the neck.  Fallon with a head lock submission.  Fallon gets a near fall on a rollup.

Fallon with a head lock.  Wren with punches and chops as she blocks punches.  Fallon with a kick.  Fallon blocks a spinning back heel kick.  Wren with punches to try to make the tag.  Fallon with an Irish whip and Wren with elbows.  Fallon with a sliding German suplex.  Reid tags in and gets a near fall.  Wren kicks Reid away a few times.  Wren gets to her feet and she kicks Reid.  Wren misses an enzuigiri but Reid hits Grey.  Wren with a back body drop to Reid and Grey and Fallon tag in.  Grey with back elbows and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Reid.  The straps come downa dn she hits a Saito suplex on Fallon followed by a DDT from the corner for a near fall.  

Fallon with a forearm.  Grey with a spinning heel kick but Reid stops Grey from taking Fallon down.  Reid with a back breaker and Wren breaks up the cover.  Wren with a clothesline to Fallon on the floor.  Grey with a jaw breaker and a back elbow to Reid for a near fall.  Grey goes for a cross arm breaker but Reid locks her hands and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Grey with another take down into a cross arm breaker.  Wren with Cattle Mutilation on Fallon and both tap out.

Winner: WrenQC via Submission.

After the match, Kendal says that Wren won the Speed title last week and she tapped out   Grey says she is coming after Jacy.

Lola Vice comes out and she says it is time for change on top.  She says Kendal will be a champion, but Lola says she will break Jacy’s jaw and become the first Cuban champion.

Robert Stone comes out and he says they both want a title match, so they will meet next week in a number one contender’s match for Stand and Deliver.

Backstage: Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca walks in the back.

In-Ring: Sol Ruca, Zaria

We are back and Sol Ruca is in the ring.

Sol says she has been going back and forth trying to figure out what she was going to say.  She didn’t want to say anything.  She says she has seen what Zaria has said on social media but hat wasn’t the Zaria she knew.  She thought Zaria was stronger.  She says she was trying to figure out where she lost Zaria, but Zaria just didn’t want to stand beside her.  Sol says she trusted Zaria as a tag team partner and friend.  After every spear and snarky comment, she gave her the benefit of the doubt.  She made sure that people talked about Zaria when they mentioned her.

You didn’t want a team, you wanted a moment.  When you couldn’t have your moment, you took away mine.  All she wanted was to pull Zaria forward.  Every chance she got, she shared it with you.  Sol says she thought they were better together.  Sol says maybe she was too naive and loyal.  Sol says she wanted Zaria to shine as much as she did.  Sol says she gave Zaria her spot in the battle royal.  She vouched for Zaria for the TNA title.  I let you defend and lose my titles.  When Raw and Smacdown called, she wanted you by her side.  They would not have been the same without you.  While she was fighting for ‘us’, you were waiting to make it all about ‘you’.

Sol says she sees her, hears her, and knows who she really is.  She tells Zaria to prove that she can stand on her own at Stand and Deliver.

Zaria comes out and says Sol doesn’t really get it.  Zaria says she wanted ‘Us’ but you wanted your success more.  You didn’t give her anything.  Every time she stepped in the ring, she wasn’t Zaria, she was Sol Ruca’s partner.  When she speared and F-5’d you, she was getting back everything Sol took from her.  Zaria says she was no longer in Sol’s shadow.  She says it is fitting that where it all started is where it is going to end.

Zaria says you are made because you got hurt and didn’t win the Women’s title.  Now you know how she feels.  Zaria says Sol was never going to share with her.  Zaria mentions Sol pushing her off the ladder last year.  To stand next to the person who has everything you want and they think they are doing the right thing by letting you near it, I hated it.  Zaria says she knows that Sol thinks she doesn’t care, but she does.  Zaria says she cares . . . enough to realize that as long as you are standing, she will not be able to.  Zaria says this isn’t about you.  This is about her finally choosing herself.  If breaking you is what it takes to be what you would never let her be, then she will do it.

Sol asks why is Zaria trying to make her the villain.  You would gaslight and manipulate her so she could give Zaria an opportunity.  Zaria says she threw it all away because she is too insecure to stand beside her.

Zaria says Sol is not the villain in her story.  You are the mistake.

Backstage: Ricky Saints, “All Ego” Ethan Page, Josh Briggs, Joe Hendry

Ricky and Ethan are watching what happened last week and they make excuses.  Ricky wants Ethan to let things off his chest.

Ethan says he wants to be the World Champ.  

Josh Briggs is sitting next to them and he yells a them for complaining about the world title match when he cannot get time with Robert Stone.

Joe Hendry says if Ricky doesn’t not handle Tony tonight, he will deal with Tony at Stand and Deliver.

Kelani Jordan vs. Thea Hail

They lock up and Thea with a wrist lock.  Jordan with a forearm.  Thea with a Thesz press and punches.  Jordan with an ankle pick to a leap frog followed by punches.  Jordan with a back drop for a near fall.  Jordan sends Thea into the turnbuckles a few times.  Thea blocks being sent into the turnbuckles and she sends Jordan into the turnbuckles.  Thea with elbows and a running lebow into the corner.  Jordan blocks an exploder and Thea with a snap mare and she goes for a kimura.  Jordan escapes and Thea returns to the kimura.  Jordan sends Thea into the turnbuckles.  Jordan with a split legged moonsault for the three count.

Winner: Kelani Jordan via Pinfall.

After the match, Jordan attacks Thea and puts her in a wrist lock submission.

Jaida Parker comes out and kicks Kelani and hits a gourdbuster.  Jordan gets to the floor.

Jasper Troy says that Booker is a father figure to him and when you acted up, he says he had to stop Keanu.  Next week, he will take care of Keanu in New York next week.

Backstage: Shiloh Hill, Tatum Paxley

Tatum says she needs help from Shiloh to find Blake.  Hill says he knows where she is.  He tells Tatum where she is and Tatum asks if that is weird.

NXT North American Championship #1 Contender Gauntlet Eliminator Match
Shiloh Hill vs. Jackson Drake vs. Dion Lennox vs. Charlie Dempsey vs. Johnny Gargano

The first participants are Shiloh Hill and Jackson Drake

They lock up and Drake with a side head lock.  Hill with a shoulder tackle for a near fall.  Drake with a rollup for a near fall.  Hill with divorce court and Drake hot shots HIll.  Drake with a drop kick into the corner.Drake kicks Hill.  Drake with a springboard knee drop for a near fall.  Drake with a snap mare and a kick to the back.  Drake kicks Hill again.  Hill punches Drake and Drake with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall.  Drake gets another near fall.  Hill with a hot shot and he sends Drake face first to the mat.  Hill with a tilt-a-whirl side slam and he gets a near fall.  HIll with a back elbow for a near fall.

The next entrant is Dion Lennox.

Dion with elbows to Drake and Hill followed by shoulders.  Dion with a Northern Lights suplex to Hill and then he hits a spinebuster on Drake.  Dion poses and yells at the crowd while Hill and Drake are down.  Hill escapes a slam attempt and he punches Dion.  Both men with running clotheslines and they go down.  Drake gets a near fall on Dion.  Drake with a neck breaker to Hill and Hill takes Dion down with a DDT.  Drake with a shooting star press on Hill for a near fall.  Drake with a running hip to Dion’s back against the ropes.  Drake punches Dion.  Dion with punches and Drake with a forearm.  Drake chokes Hill in the corner.  Hill with a take down and punches to Drake.  Drake with a double thrust to Hill’s hroat.  Drake with a Fisherman’s suplex on Dion for a near fall.

The next entrant is Charlie Dempsey

Charlie with a shot to Drake and a kick to HIll.  Charlie with a German suplex to Dion and a back breaker to Drake.  Dempsey with a European uppercut to Drake and he applies a crossface chicken wing in the ropes.  Drake with a sleeper on Dempsey and then Hill with a sleeper on Drake.

Dion goes to the floor.  HIll with a gutwrench suplex to Dempsey and a slam to Dion and he slams Drake on top of them and gets a near fall.  Dempsey with a Muta Lock and Drake with a double stomp to Dempsey to get him to release the hold.  Dsempy with forearms to Drake and Drake fires back.  Dion sends Hill through the ringside barrier because IT HAS TO BREAK EVERY WEEK.  Dion with a German suplex to Dempsey.  

The final entrant is . . . Candice LeRae comes out and she says she has tried to get Johnny out of his funk until he brought him back to where he made his name . . . Johnny Gargano.

The four men in the match stand in the ring and Candice has to bring Johnny out from the back.  Johnny finally gets in the ring and Drake with a boot to the head. and Johnny face plants.  ion with a sit out power bomb for a near fall on Drake.  Dsempey with European uppercuts and knees.  Demspey with a triangle on Dion.  Dion with a one arm sit out power bomb.  Drake kicks Dion to the floor.

Nima and Price attack Dion and they hit a curb stomp on Dion through the ringside barrier.

Hill wih a power bomb and a three coun on Dion.

First Elimination: Dion Lennox via Pinfall.

Hill looks at Johnny and rolls him back into the ring and Johnny ‘Orange Cassidys’ across the ring.  Dempsey pushes him back and then Drake pushes him to the floor.  Dempsey kicks HIll while Johnny acts like he would rather be anywhere else.  Dempsey with a punch and Johnny lays down on the ringside barrier.  HIll with a flying double shoulder tackle and HIll gets a near fall on Drake.  Hill gets a near fall on Dempsey.  Dempsey gets a near fall on Hill.  Dempsey with a cravate and Drake with a head scissors on Dempsey.  Dempsey with a heel hook and Hill with a heel hook on the other leg.

Johnny figures he might go onto the ring steps.  Drake fights through the pain and Johnny gets on the apron.  HIll with a forearm to Johnny and he returns to his nap.  Hill returns to the heel hook.  Hill and Dempsey chop each other.  Dempsey and Hill fight to the floor.  Drake with a flip dive onto Dempsey and Hill, but Drake holds his ankle.  Drake sends Hill back into the ring and he hits a 450 splash for a near fall.  Dempsey with a shot to the leg and a German suplex.  Drake with an enzuigiri and a clothesline to send Dempsey to the floor.  Drake with a suicide dive onto Dempsey.  Drake kicks Hill and Hill avoids a kick and Drake escapes a suplex.  Hill catches Drake on a handspring move and Hill hits a pop up TKO.

Second Elimination: Jackson Drake via Pinfall.

Dempsey with elbows and he gets a near fall.  Dempsey with more near falls.  Hill with punches to Dempsey and Dempsey with a Northern lights suplex and a butterfly suplex and bridge for a near fall.  Hill blocks a Saito suplex and Hill with a pop up TKO for the three count.

Third Elimination: Charlie Dempsey via Pinfall.

Channing and Uriah attack Hill and Dempsey sends him into the ring steps.  HIll is put back in the ring and Candice pushes Johnny onto Hill for the three count.

Winner: Johnny Gargano via Pinfall.

After the match, Borne goes to the ring for the contractually obligated title belt pose and Gargano shows some live.

Backstage: Varsity Project, Robert Stone, Josh Briggs, Jaida Parker

Brad and Ricky ask Stone who will replace Elio and Eli.

Josh wants to talk and a referee shows up.

The referee says no one wants to referee the Keanu/Jasper match next week.  Stone says he will deal with it.

Jaida Parker shows up and Stone says he can give her a match against Kelani next week.

Backstage: OTM, Mike Santana

Sarah is with Price and Nima.

Nima says that was the receipt for what they did in Houston.

Sarah brings up the other stuff that happened.

Nima says they made it personal in Houston.  Next week, there will be a six man tag match.  Price says they have no friends in New York.

Mike Santana appears on the screen and he says when OTM made the call, he was happy to answer it.  Dark State, you have felt these hands before, but never like this before.  He says this is Madison Square Garden.  Make sure to wipe your feet and pay your respects when you get off the plane.

NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round Match
The Culling (Nico Vance & Shawn Spears) vs. Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo Americano)

Spears and Bravo start things off.  They lock up and Spears with a wrist lock.  Bravo with a reversal and take down.  Spears with a reversal.  Bravo with an arm drag and he dances.  Spears with a punch to the midsection and a snap mare.  Spears with a cartwheel.  Bravo with a head scissors take down.  Bravo with a drop kick and Rayo tags in.  Niko tags in.  Rayo and Bravo with kicks, punches, and chops.  Niko with a double leap frog and a double clothesline.  Niko kicks Rayo.  Rayo with chops and they have no impact.  Niko with a knee and an Irish whip that sends Rayo into the ropes and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Bravo tags in and Rayo and Bravo kick Niko and hit a double drop kick.  Spears gets sent to the floor.  Bravyo with a pescado and NIko catches Rayo but Bravo with a suicide dive to take Niko down.  

Bravo with an uppercut and NIko blocks a slam and NIko with a slam of his own  Spears tags in and he chops Bravo.  Spears misses a chop and Bravo with a chop and punches.   Bravo with a snap mare and he tags Rayo in for a slingshot senton.  Rayo with a double leg take down and he catapults Spears into a forearm and Bravo with a slingshot senton onto Spears on Rayo’s knees.  Bravo is sent over the top rope to the floor and he hits the edge of the ring steps.  Niko with a boot to Bravo and he runs Bravo into the apron.  Niko with a back drop driver onto the apron.  Niko with a hard Irish whip and a back breaker for a near fall.

Niko runs Bravo into the turnbuckles.  Spears tags in and chops Bravo on the turnbuckles.  Bravo with kicks and Spears with punches.  Spears goes for Bravo’s mask and Bravo punches Spears off the turnbuckles.  Bravo with a cross body and both are down.  Niko tags in and Rayo with a splash.  Rayo goes up top and he hits a moonsault for a near fall.  Bravo tags in and Rayo with a thrust kick.  Bravo is caught by Niko and he choke slams Bravo into Rayo.  Bravo with an enzuigiri and a slam.  Bravo gets Spears up for an airplane spin.  Niko with a knee to Bravo.  Niko goes up top and he misses a frog splash when Rayo pulls Bravo out of the way. 

Bravo puts a piece of metal in his mask while Rayo talks to the referee.  Spears tags in and hits a running Death Valley Driver.  Rayo puts a piece of metal in his mask.  Spears with an O’Connor Roll and Rayo with a head butt with the loaded mask.  Bravo knocks Niko off the apron and Bravo with a flying head butt for the three count.

Winner: Los Americanos via Pinfall.

Backstage: Keanu Carver, Robert Stone, Josh Briggs

Keanu tells Stone he will smash Jasper.  

Stone says there are no referees.

Josh Briggs shows up and he says he has an idea for the referee.  He says he can do it.  Josh says he can control them.  He says Keanu does not scare him.

Stone makes Josh the referee.

Tatum walks down a hallway looking for Blake Monroe and we go to commercial.

There is a knock on the door and Blake thinks it is room service.

Tatum is on the other side of the door.  She says next week they will meet face to face and a door won’t stand between them.

Next Week’s Show Card Rundown

Next week, Jasper Troy faces Keanu Carver with guest referee Josh Briggs.  Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Mike Santana face Dark State.  Kendal Grey faces Lola Vice in a Number One Contender Match.

Ricky Saints vs. Tony D’Angelo

Ricky offers his hand and he tries for a kick but Tony blocks it.  Ricky has a boo boo on his foot.  Ricky goes for the leg and Tony blocks it.  Rony with a waist lock and Ricky with a front face lock.  They go back and forth on the mat and Tony with a waist lock and a take down into a rollup for a near fall.  Tony with a front face lock.  Ricky with a double leg take down.  Tony with a single leg and take down.  Ethan checks on Ricky on the floor.  Ricky trips over the ring steps.  Ricky kicks Tony when Tony charges at him.  Tony presses Ricky over his head and slams him through the ropes.  Ricky kicks Tony to the floor when Ethan distracts Tony.  Ricky catches Tony on a pescado but Tony is sent into the ring steps by Ricky.  Ricky kicks Tony and sends him into the ring steps.  

Ricky with chops and kicks.  Tony with punches and the hair goes Brody style.  Tony with chops.  Tony with an Irish whip and Tony charges into the corner but hits the ring post shoulder first.  Ricky with an arm breaker.  Ricky punches Tony and he goes to the ropes for Old School.  Ricky poses and Tony punches Ricky.  Tony with clotheslines in the corner.  Ricky with a boot to Tony and divorce court for a near fall.  Ricky with a reverse chin lock.  Tony backs Ricky into the corner to escape.  Ricky with a neck breaker for a near fall.  Ricky with a rear naked choke.  Tony with an Olympic Slam.  Ethan trips Tony and distracts him.  Ricky goes for the tornado DDT but Tony blocks it and counters with a suplex.

Ricky drop kicks Tony into the corner and hits another drop kick.  Tony escapes Roshambo but Ricky with a spear for a near fall.  Ricky with a hard Irish whip.  Ricky with another hard Irish whip.  Ricky with a chop and snap mare followed by kicks to the back.  Tony starts to Tony up and he punches Ricky and hits a clothesline.  Tony with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a splash and overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  Tony with a spear and then Ethan gets on the apron and Tony knocks him down.  Page attacks Tony and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Tony D’Angelo via Disqualification.

Ethan and Ricky work over Tony and Ricky goes up top, but Joe Hendry comes out and he stops Page and Ricky.  Joe with a fallaway slam to Page and a clothesline to send Ricky over the top rope to the floor.  Joe gives Tony standing ovation.

Ethan and Ricky grab the title belt.

Backstage: Robert Stone

Sarah is with Stone and she asks about the title match.

Stone says it will be a Fatal Four Way Match at Stand and Deliver.  They will have a contract signing next week.
