United Empire Appears & Helps Out Will Ospreay Attack Death Riders

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada featured the United Empire’s Francesco Akira, HENARE, and IWGP Heavyweight Champion Callum Newman making a surprise appearance.

At the start of the show, Will Ospreay was seen backstage brawling with Jon Moxley. This led to the rest of the Death Riders showing up and attacked Ospreay quickly gaining the upper hand over him. This led to a black SUV showing up and Alex Windsor being the first to come out, followed by United Empire’s Akira, HENARE, and Newman to help Ospreay. After a brief staredown between the two groups, a mass brawl broke out that spilled out to the ringside area.

This brawl ended with the Death Riders escaping to safety leading to Ospreay calling out Moxley and the Death Riders and issued a challenge to them for a multi-man tag match later in the show.


Chris Jericho Addresses His AEW Return, Jericho vs. Ricochet Set for AEW Dynasty 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured Chris Jericho addressing his recent return to AEW.

During the show, Jericho came out to the ring with a contract in his hand stating that he is ready to sign his new contract. After some more words, Jericho talked about how he has taken a lot of risks in his career including taking one of the biggest in 2019 on AEW. Jericho stated that he is so happy to continue to help build the company he helped start. After some more words, Jericho stated it doesn’t matter if he’s in the opener, main event, or not on the show at all since he wants to helps others and this company, which is all that matters to him.

Before Jericho was able to sign the contract, Ricochet’s music played and him and Gates of Agony came out to the ring. After some insults directed at Canada, Ricochet stated that they come in peace and they want Jericho to do himself a favor and just don’t, don’t do any of this, and don’t come back. After some more words boasting about himself and claiming he is the reason why AEW business has gone up, Ricochet told Jericho that he speaks for everyone and says no one wants Jericho here and get out of AEW before he gets himself hurt.

After Ricochet took off his hat, Jericho responded stating he can’t believe how bald Ricochet is but he respects him and only he doesn’t give a shit what he thinks. Jericho then talked about how he has a clause in his new contract saying that he can choose anyone he wants to wrestle at Dynasty. After some more words, Jericho stated that he has a decision to make and invoked The List of Jericho. Jericho told Ricochet he just made the list. Jericho then signed his new contract and told Ricochet he will see him at Dynasty.

Later in the show it was announced that this match was made official for Dynasty.


Don Callis Family vs. Young Bucks Tag Match Announced for AEW Dynasty 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of Dynasty 2026, which takes place on April 12th at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.

This new match announced was a tag team match of the Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).

This new match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving Don Callis and the rest of the Don Callis Family.


Tommaso Ciampa Earns #1 Spot in TNT Title Casino Gauntlet Match at AEW Dynasty 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured Tommaso Ciampa defeating Mascara Dorada to earn the #1 entrant spot in the Casino Gauntlet match for the Vacant TNT Championship at Dynasty 2026.
