Commentary welcomes us to the show, running down the four title matches taking place tonight before cutting to a video package highlighting what went down last week to set up Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against MJF…and that match is kicking off Dynamite right now!

TNT Championship
MJF vs. Kevin Knight (c)

We head to ringside as MJF makes his entrance for our opening contest. Out next is Kevin Knight, who is greeted by “Speedball” Mike Bailey before heading down to the ring to get this match underway!

MJF quickly takes the fight to the champ, sending Knight to the outside before slamming him against the barricade. He starts mocking the Jet, grabbing a nearby camera to poke fun at the champ before bringing him back into the ring. Knight starts to fight back before hitting the ropes, only to be sent flying by the challenger. They exchange offense until MJF lands a vertical suplex, going for the cover but only taking a two count.

MJF goes for a Heatseeker, but Knight breaks free before catching him with a DDT. MJF finds himself scrambling to the ropes as Kevin lays in some stomps, and he gets back to his feet only to get caught with a powerslam by the champ. Knight follows with a splash and a cover, but MJF kicks out.

Kevin goes up, but the challenger rolls out of harm’s way. Knight doesn’t let this slide as he chases after MJF, sending him into the barricade before bringing him back into the ring. MJF once again tries to get a breather on the outside, but the champ lands a dive through the ropes. He brings MJF back into the ring but the challenger once again tries to evade disaster…but to no avail, as Knight lands a springboard forearm!

This pattern continues until MJF tries to go for another Heatseeker, but Knight breaks free again leading to both men trading nearfalls. Knight hits the ropes but is caught with a cutter by MJF, but a cradle only gets him two.

MJF heads to the corner where Knight intercepts him, sending the challenger to the mat but favoring his knee afterward. He goes up top and leaps off for a UFO splash…which MJF evades at the last second! MJF goes after the leg of Knight but is shoved into the corner, only to catch the champ with a thrust kick and a Panama Sunrise that gets him a nearfall as we go to a quick ad break.

Back in the ring, MJF has a single leg crab cinched in tight on the champ as he pulls Knight away from the ropes. Knight manages to kick MJF away to break the hold, but MJF climbs up the turnbuckle…jumping into a thrust kick by Kevin instead!

Knight goes up top, this time connecting with the UFO splash…but the damage keeps him from making a cover right away, and that’s enough for the challenger to kick out at two. Kevin is favoring his knee as MJF rolls to the apron, where he drops Knight to the ropes with a dragon screw legwhip. He continues to lay into the injured leg before hoisting him up for an Alabama slam. Cover by MJF for two, and he goes back on it two more times for the same result.

MJF is frustrated by all this, leaving the ring to retrieve the TNT Championship from the timekeeper table. He brings the belt into the ring, only for the ref to take it away from him. While the ref is distracted with this, MJF pulls out his Dynamite Diamond Ring…only to take a low blow and an inside cradle by Knight for the win!

Winner: Kevin Knight via Pinfall to retain the TNT Championship.

Knight is not given time to celebrate as he is blindsided by MJF after the match, but the beatdown is interrupted by the arrival of Darby Allin! The AEW World Champion drops down from the rafters, and drops MJF with a Scorpion Death Drop! MJF hightails it out of the ring with a mic in his hand, retreating up the ramp to complain about Darby and Kevin being a couple of cheaters.

He tries to demand his rematch for “his Triple B,” but Darby says no. He’s not giving MJF a rematch until he puts something on the line, and if Darby survives tonight he knows who deserves the next shot…Kevin Knight.

Brody King doesn’t seem to take too kindly to this as he makes his way out, staring down MJF on the ramp before making a beeline for the ring. He has a mic in his hand as well, telling Darby he’s got some bad news…Darby’s not gonna survive tonight. He’s got worse news for Kevin Knight, letting him know he’s not facing Darby next week…he’s facing the new AEW World Champion!

He makes his exit as we take a look at the other matches set for tonight.

Backstage: Adam Copeland, Christian Cage

Backstage, we hear from Cage and Cope. Cage says his arm is fine before accepting the challenge from FTR for an “I Quit” Street Fight (or something alone those lines) at Double Or Nothing. Cope remarks on Cage’s history with I Quit matches in AEW, with Cage insisting he didn’t say that before leaving.

The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter) vs. Emily Jaye & Jordan Blade

Back at ringside, Brawling Birds make their entrance for our next match, with Emily Jaye and Jordan Blade already in the ring as we get underway!

Windsor starts off with Blade, laying into her with some hard offense before tagging in Hayter to continue the attack. Jaye tries to get involved, but she gets sent out of the ring, before the Birds land Two Birds One Stone for the win.

Winner: The Brawling Birds via Pinfall.

Backstage: Triangle of Madness

Backstage, Thekla says there are too many dumb b—hes in AEW as she and Skye Blue address their enemies Eddie Kingston style. Theka tells Hayter to stick to her tag team because one on one, Thekla is everything…and you are nothing.

AEW International Championship
Ace Austin vs. Kazuchika Okada (c)

Austin tries to get the upper hand on the champ, but Okada quickly turns it in his favor before taking Ace to the mat for a nearfall. Okada continues the attack but Austin manages to turn it back around, lifting the champ up before sending him to the corner. Okada takes a leaping enziguri by the challenger, but evades a dive only to watch Ace do a handstand to avoid being swept off the apron.

The champ applauds this before Ace continues to build momentum…only for Okada to send him down hard to the floor with a DDT! He applauds his own efforts to keep the challenger at bay, as we go to ad break.

Back from break, Okada takes Austin down in the ring with a backbreaker before going up top for an elbow drop. He plays to the crowd with a middle finger before bringing Austin to his feet. Ace fights back, sending Okada through the ropes to the outside. Ace once again dodges the champ’s attacks with a handstand, landing a kick to the face of the Rainmaker. Fosbury flop connects, sending Okada to the floor before bringing him back into the ring.

Okada starts to fight back but takes a big kick dropping him to the canvas. He heads to the corner but is intercepted by Austin, who follows with a springboard legdrop for a close nearfall. Okada heads to the opposite corner, booting Ace in the face before getting a two count of his own…but Austin evades a dropkick! He charges at the champ, managing to send him to the mat with an elongated sunset flip for two.

He heads to the corner for another springboard legdrop, but is caught with a dropkick instead! Okada goes for a Rainmaker lariat, but it gets countered with a backslide that garners a two count. Okada lands another dropkick, followed by a tombstone piledriver and Rainmaker lariat for the win.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada via Pinfall to retain the AEW International Championship.

Okada tries to attack Austin some more before Juice Robinson intervenes, and as the Don Callis Family regroups in the ring we see Konosuke Takeshita coming out to stare the champ down ahead of their match at Double Or Nothing.

We cut to a video package hyping up the return of the “Most Wanted” himself, Bandido…except we see the man who wants him most right now as Swerve Strickland is handed a lighter to burn the wanted poster with the luchador’s face.

Backstage: Death Riders, Will Ospreay

Commentary welcomes us back to the show before we get an update from the camp of the Death Riders backstage(?), with Moxley talking to Ospreay to confirm if he’s been cleared. He says he wasn’t but it won’t stop him going to Japan for a big title match coming up for his boys, and Moxley likes the sound of that…but also tells him to drop everything he’s been holding, all that excess baggage…including whatever feelings he has against Mox.

Ospreay understands, walking off before asking where the ring is. Mox tells him there is no ring, and turns his attention to us saying the rest is proprietary. With that, Dynamite rolls on.

Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland) vs. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta)

Back at ringside, Stokely Hathaway joins commentary with FTR standing by as Cage and Cope make their entrance for our next match. RPG Vice come out as well, and we get this match underway!

Cage and Romero start things off, with Cage taking Rocky to the corner. Romero fights back, taking Christian to the mat before posing…and this only riles Cage up as he goes on the attack, followed by a tag to Copeland. Adam lays into Rocky some more until Trent makes the tag, sending Cope to the corner for a chop before sending him across the ring…where Cope takes him down hard before tagging in Cage!

He brings Beretta to the outside, slamming Trent against the barricade before bringing him around the ringside area…only to be blindsided by Romero! This gives RPG an advantage as Stokely has a laugh…until Orange Cassidy appears with a popcorn bucket, dodging a right hand by Hathaway before dumping the popcorn all over him! This leads to a brawl with FTR, which heads up through the crowd as Trent drops Cage to the floor with a knee strike before we go to an ad break.

Back in the ring, Trent goes to work on the injured arm of Cage before knocking off Cope from the apron, allowing him to go for a cover…but Adam slides in to break the pin! Romero tags in, chopping Cage into the corner. He sets Christian up on the turnbuckle for a flying cross arm breaker until Cage gets to the ropes for a break.

Tag made to Beretta as Cage starts to fight back, but Romero tags himself back in to stop the momentum…only to be sent back by Cage, with both men down as Cope reaches for a tag. Cope and Trent are the legal men now, with Adam sending Trent to the corner. Beretta fights back with an elbow, but ends up charging into an Impaler instead! Cover by Cope, but Romero breaks it up just in time.

Cage stops RPG Vice from a double-team, allowing Copeland to get a nearfall before Cage comes into the ring himself. A fracas ends with Cage and Romero dropping to the outside as Cope goes for a spear on Trent, who rolls Adam up for a pin…but the ref catches his feet on the ropes!

Trent starts to argue with the ref about this, until he gets dropped with a spear by Copeland for the win.

Winner: Cage & Cope via Pinfall.

Cage grabs a mic and a chair from ringside, breaking a piece of the chair off to hand to Cope. Cope uses it for a crossface as Cage tells Trent to say what he knows he needs to say. Beretta struggles with the metal object in his mouth, but eventually shouts “I Quit”…to which Cage says he’d never say that. Cope’s music hits as Cage and later Copeland pose with the tag belts.

Video: Jericho, The Demand

Earlier tonight, Jericho starts to address Ricochet when he is blindsided by The Demand. Ricochet tells Jericho he should’ve left, but is told to “eat s–t” by Jericho…which only leads to GOA beating him down some more before Ricochet teases a moonsault(?) on him, telling Jericho he’s not even worth it. Ha HA!

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship
Kris Statlander & Hikrau Shida vs. Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) (c)

Back at ringside, Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida make their way out for our next match. They challenge for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship and the champs make their entrance next. We get some words from Renee and then get this match for the titles underway!

Shida starts things off by going after both champs, but Kross sends her to the corner for some shoulder charges. Beal toss sends Hikaru to the mat hard, and she fends the challenger off with a shoulder tackle before tagging in Bayne. Double shoulder tackle on Shida before Megan goes for a fall away slam. Shida keeps the brunt of the damage away before sending the Megasus to the corner for a knee strike.

Bayne stops a jumping knee from the ropes, sending Shida down hard to the canvas and forcing her to leave the ring for a breather. There seems to be some sort of breakdown between Shida and Stat as the latter offers a kendo stick before Bayne charges in…and somewhere in all this, Shida suplexes Stat onto Bayne to cause some damage! Stat doesn’t seem pleased by the strategy but goes after Megan, who makes a tag to Lena for a double-team on the former Women’s World Champion.

Bayne is sent out of the ring as Stat continues going after Kross, but she turns things around with some intervention from the Megasus as we go to an ad break.

Back from break, Statlander fends off both champions with a series of strikes before reaching for a tag to Shida. Bayne pulls her away and sends Stat to the ropes, only to be laid out with a clothesline. Shida gets the tag as does Kross, and the two trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Shida is sent to the corner, where she lands a dropkick on Kross. Lena fights back now, sending Hikaru to the ropes…but the challenger drops her on the ropes, landing a knee strike on her and sending Divine Dominion off the apron to the floor.

She brings Kross back to the ring, but takes a crescent kick before Stat tags herself in. Kross keeps her at bay before tagging in Bayne, who lands a release German suplex before making the cover for a two count. Kross tags herself in as Bayne hits the ropes, but Stat fights back with a Blue Thunder Bomb on Bayne and a roundhouse kick on Kross…followed by a 450 splash from the top turnbuckle!

Cover by Stat on Lena, who kicks out just in time. Tag to Shida, who drops Kross with a kick and a Falcon Arrow for the cover…but Lena again kicks out! Shida goes for a Katana but is dropped by Bayne, who gets hit by Stat before Divine Dominion take her out. Double chokeslam by Divine Dominion gets them the win to retain.

Winner: Divine Dominion via Pinfall to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.

The champs celebrate.

Backstage: Andrade El Idolo, Don Callis, MJF

We cut backstage, where an interview with Andrade El Idolo and Don Callis is interrupted by an angry MJF. He runs down Andrade for leading to the champ losing his title, and El Idolo’s response to this is “how [do] you know?” This only riles the former champ up as he shoves Andrade, but Don cuts in to tell them both to focus on business right now.

RUSH vs. Steven Fuerte

We head back to ringside as Rush makes his entrance for our entrance. Steve Fuerte looks for a handshake as this match gets underway…

…but Rush could care less as he shoves Fuerte to the outside! He slams Steven against the barricade before bringing him back into the ring, charging at him in the corner for some stomps. Crowd chants his name as Rush goes for The Horns, pulling Fuerte to the center of the ring for the pin and the win.

Winner: RUSH via Pinfall.

Rush takes a microphone, shouting in Spanish before cutting his catchphrase. When you mess with The Bull, you get…well, you know.

Backstage: The Opps

Backstage, Renee (who has been struggling all night with her voice, hope she’s okay) talks to The Opps as Samoa Joe addresses being back with his boys, including the newest recruit in Anthony Bowens. He then addresses Will Ospreay in what seems like another faction wanting the former International Champion in their ranks, before we head to a commercial break.

Backstage: FTR, Stokely Hathaway, Tommaso Ciampa

Backstage, FTR and Stokely reveal they have an ally to deal with Orange Cassidy after what he did tonight, as Tommaso Ciampa will team with them in a quest for the trios titles. On that note, we get the challenge made for next week’s Dynamite: a Double Jeopardy match between Orange Cassidy and Dax Harwood, where a win for Cassidy means a future tag title shot and a win for Harwood means a future trios title shot down the line.

AEW World Championship
Brody King vs. Darby Allin (c)

Show of sportsmanship is followed by Darby charging King in the corner, looking for the same quickness with which he won the title two weeks ago. He ends up taking the challenger to the mat with a Code Red from the turnbuckle, but only gets a two count for his efforts. King leaves the ring as Darby goes for a dive, only to be dropped to the floor by the big man.

He brings Allin to the guardrail, setting him up on a chair before charging at him…but the champ catches him with a drop toe hold, sending Brody face first into the chair! He pulls the chair away, setting it up to sit King upon for some more strikes before going up top for a missile dropkick! Brody falls from the chair to the floor as we go to what is touted as our final ad break of the evening.

Back from break, Brody takes the champ out with a uranage onto the floor before clearing off the announce table. He pulls the lid(?) of it off, propping it against the barricade as we see Kevin Knight watching from the crowd. Darby is back on his feet, going for a sleeper hold on the challenger…until Brody sends both of them crashing through the table cover! Crowd is electric for this as we see MJF watching backstage, and the ref checks on both men until Brody gets to his feet.

He brings Darby back up as well, but the champ fights back with some strikes. This spills over to the announce table, where Brody ends up catching Darby with a sleeper hold. Darby manages to break free just enough to fight back with a Code Red, driving King onto the table which does not give!

Darby manages to slowly make his way back to the ring, with Brody getting back on his feet only to be sent back into the desk with a dive by Darby. Darby gets back in the ring once more, climbing up the turnbuckle…but King intercepts, dropping him into a tree of woe for a cannonball! He brings Allin to his feet for a massive lariat and the cover, but the challenger only gets a two count.

Darby tries to fight back but is soon laid out with another lariat, but this only gets a nearfall as Darby manages to save his title with a shoulder up. Darby manages to dodge the big man in the corner, landing some chops before King launches him over the top rope to the outside…where he collides with a camera op on his way to the floor! This gives the challenger an opening as he goes after Darby on the outside.

Brody pulls the mat off the floor as Darby crawls to the guardrail, and as he charges at the champ we see Darby narrowly get out of the way, forcing King to go crashing through instead! Darby gets back in the ring as Brody slowly follows, and they fight it out on the apron until Brody looks for a suplex to the outside…with Darby sending him to the exposed concrete instead with a sunset powerbomb!

He climbs the turnbuckle for a Coffin Drop, crashing onto the challenger as the ref begins the count. Darby slides back into the ring as the count reaches eight and then nine before King slides in…only to be blindsided with a Coffin Drop! Darby rushes back up top for one more Coffin Drop for the win to retain.

Winner: Darby Allin via Pinfall to retain the AEW World Championship.

Darby celebrates as Brody eventually gets on his feet to show some respect to the champ. Commentary runs down the card for Collision and next week’s Dynamite as we cut between Darby recovering from the battle we just witnessed and Kevin Knight staring down the man he challenges next week for the world title before Dynamite comes to a close.
