“Speedball” Mike Bailey Says The Locker Room Emptied Out To See Audience Reaction to Chris Jericho’s AEW Return

As noted before, last week’s AEW Dynamite show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada featured Chris Jericho making his surprise return to AEW.

Celebrate Wrestling held a recent interview with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. One of the topics discussed included Bailey’s thoughts about Jericho’s surprise return and the reaction from the locker room backstage.

“Obviously, it was a huge surprise for everyone when Judas started playing at the beginning of Dynamite. The whole locker room emptied out to go see the audience’s reaction to Chris Jericho. You heard it, you saw it, they were live and they were excited. Later that night, just to be the main event on the show where Chris Jericho returned in Winnipeg, the energy was incredible and it set the stage perfectly for an all time episode of AEW Dynamite.”

Mascara Dorada Comments on Getting AEW Contract was “Huge Surprise” for Him

Instinct Culture’s Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with CMLL and AEW talent Mascara Dorada. One of the topics discussed included Dorada’s thoughts about him recently signing a dual contract with AEW and CMLL and how it came as a surprise to him.

“Well, it was a huge surprise, since the only wrestler with a dual contract at the time was Hechicero. When they told me, I didn’t hesitate for a single second, because this has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid, I always wanted to work for two companies, since there are very few wrestlers in the world who have two, three or four contracts. I wanted to be part of that very small group of wrestlers, because for me, it’s a real pleasure to wrestle all over the world.”
