A recent episode of the Boots To Boots podcast featured Ring of Honor ring announcer Bobby Cruise as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cruise’s thoughts about the future of his announcing career in pro wrestling and potential retirement plans. Cruise also revealed that his current contract with AEW and ROH is set to expire in March of 2027.
“So I think I know when I’m gonna be done. I just haven’t decided yet. It’s not next year, I hope. My contract’s up in March of 2027. I hope it’s not next year.”
Cruise has been working for ROH since 2003 and remained with the company following Tony Khan’s purchase in 2022. Cruise has also been working for AEW since March of 2022 and has made occasional appearances as the ring announcer for AEW shows.
