As noted before, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru 2026 show in Everett, Washington featured Darby Allin defeating MJF to become the new AEW World Champion. This match was notable for Sting making a surprise appearance before it to give a pep talk to Allin and for him celebrating with Allin after Allin’s title victory.
AEW recently released a digital exclusive backstage video featuring Sting and others celebrating Allin and his AEW World title victory backstage. Sting stated that he was proud of Allin like he was his own son.
