Yoshiki Inamura is currently scheduled to defend his GHC Heavyweight Championship against Team 2000X’s Alpha Wolf at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s upcoming event on April 12th in Nagoya, Japan.
During today’s NOAH event at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Team 2000X attacked Inamura laying him out in the ring. Yoshi-Tatsu gave a promo on behalf of Wolf claiming that he has been in contact with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque and if Wolf wins the GHC Heavyweight title at NOAH’s upcoming show, then the title will be under WWE’s control.
“Inamura, you love talking about WWE, don’t you? I just got in touch with Hunter the other day! (Shows his phone screen) It’s HHH (Triple H)! After he takes the belt in Nagoya on April 12th, Wolf will head straight to WWE! The GHC Heavyweight title will be under WWE’s control. It’s what they call a defection. Don’t you guys at TEAM 2000X want to see a new timeline? Support Alpha Wolf in Nagoya on April 12th!”
NOAH currently has a working partnership with WWE that had involved Inamura going on excursion to WWE’s NXT brand from November of 2024 to August of 2025. NOAH talent Ulka Sasaki traveled to the United States this past February to start his excursion in WWE’s NXT brand.
