As noted before, Thunder Rosa had stated in a recent interview that she would feel honored to be signed to a potential dual contract with AEW and CMLL. While Hechicero, Persephone, Mascara Dorada, and Mistico are currently signed to dual contracts from the CMLL side, Claudio Castagnoli is currently the only one signed to a dual contract from the AEW side.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the current working plan is for Rosa to be offered a dual CMLL and AEW contract. Rosa’s deal with CMLL reportedly would run concurrently with her current AEW deal.
It was reported that Rosa’s current contract with AEW is believed to expire at sometime next year.
Rosa recently wrote an article for Mexican sports website RÉCORD stating that she will be working with CMLL and she is currently excited to know that her work with CMLL continue for the rest of this year.
“This collaboration is not just a visit. From Friday, April 3, I will be working with the CMLL and I am excited to know that this stage will continue for the rest of the year, presenting myself in different arenas of CMLL. This implies a real commitment: Adapting to new opponents, to different audiences and to venues with a lot of history. From April 3 to 5, at Arena Coliseo, I want that intention to be felt from the first minute, that the emotion is authentic and that the connection with the fans is earned.”
