Former WWE talent Nikki Cross filed new trademarks for “Nikki Storm” and “Best In The Galaxy” and April 28th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Nikki Storm was the ring name used by Cross in the indies prior to her joining WWE in 2016.

Major League Wrestling announced that indies talent Zamaya recently signed an official contract with the company.

Wednesday’s NJPW Wrestling Hizen no Kuni 2026 event in Saga, Japan featured DOUKI defeating Tiger Mask to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Following the show, NJPW announced that DOUKI had stated in a post-match backstage press conference that he would be “boycotting” both the remainder of the Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2026 tour and this year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament. NJPW stated “DOUKI once again found a way to retain IWGP Junior Heavyweight gold in Saga- before declaring a boycott on Best of the Super Jr. 33 and the remainder of the Dontaku tour?!“

In a recent interview with Bill Apter, Darryl Sammartino, son of late WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino, stated that his mother Carol passed away on March 4th after spending the past 16 months in a nursing home. Carol had been married to Bruno from 1959 until his passing in 2018. Besides Darryl, Carol also had two other children with Bruno named Davis and Danny. Darryl also stated that prior to her passing, his mother “slowly deteriorated” since his brother Danny passes away six months after his father did. Darryl also stated “She was suffering toward the end. She’s not suffering anymore which I’m very happy about. That’s it. Nobody deserves that.” (Transcript h/t: F4WOnline.com)

As noted before, TNA Wrestling recently changed their policy no longer allowing contracted TNA talents to work on the same indies shows as AEW talents, specifically in regards to matches involving TNA talents competing against contracted AEW talents. In recent response to a fan question on Twitter, AJ Francis stated that he believes TNA President Carlos Silva was not in the wrong to pull Leon Slater’s scheduled match against Ricochet for WrestleCon’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow 2026 event earlier this month. Francis stated “No, because nobody had a problem w/ AEW not allowing Powerhouse Hobbs to lose to me at 4th Rope even though the next night in the SAME BUILDING I was in a SOLD OUT MAIN EVENT vs Nic Nemeth for the TNA WORLD TITLE… cut that victim bullshit out. Every company protects interests.“

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that Dysfunction will be inducted into their GCW Deathmatch Hall Of Fame as part of this year’s class of inductees. This year’s GCW Deathmatch Hall of Fame ceremony will be taking place on June 6th in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

GCW also recently announced that they will be returning to Los Angeles on June 27th for an event called Amerikas Most Wanted.
