Josh Barnett Comments on Him Ending Bloodsport Had “Zero To Do With WWE Ever Telling Me What To Do”
As noted before, this past Fridayβs Josh Barnettβs Bloodsport X event for Game Changer Wrestling in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Josh Barnett officially announced the end of the Bloodsport events series for the foreseeable future.
A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured Barnett as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Barnettβs thoughts about how WWE played no role in his decision to end the Bloodsport series.
“Closing the show had zero to do with Saudi Arabia next year. It had zero to do with the WWE ever telling me to do anything or whether Iβm going there or theyβre going to do this show, nothing. The WWE has never, not once, told me what to do, how to do anything, had any input on the show, ever. If that match was booked, itβs booked the way I wanted it to be.”
