Carmelo Hayes & Kelani Jordan Sets Wedding For October 2026
As noted before, Carmelo Hayes and NXT talent Kelani Jordan announced their engagement this past July.
A recent episode of the Battleground Podcast featured Hayes as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Hayes’ thoughts about the current planning for his upcoming wedding to Jordan and revealed that it will be taking place this October.
“It’s going good. Kelani’s handling a lot of it. She’s on top of it, and I’m giving my two cents when warranted. A lot of people thought that we already got married. I guess that was the big thing. But the wedding is in October everybody. Those were engagement photos (that were circulating on social media) and I’m super excited and we’re halfway there really.”

WWE recently promoted several more people to new positions within the company for their creative and producing teams.
Andrea Concepcion announced on her LinkedIn profile that she was recently promoted as a Senior Writer & Producer.

Brandon Carroll announced on his LinkedIn profile that he was recently promoted as a NXT writer.

Working in wrestling wasn’t what I envisioned when I embarked on my journalism degree at The University of Florida, as I spent the bulk of my college years covering Florida Gators football and basketball full-time. I thought I would take the college athletics beat reporting route, a dream I had since high school. However, the decision to expand my horizon and pursue a career with another longtime love of mine in the WWE was the best decision I could’ve made in hindsight. It was a scary transition, but one I would surely make again if I could go back. Now, as I near my two-year anniversary with WWE, I’m so grateful to be moving into this Writer position and continue working with such a great team!”
Colby Applegate announced on his LinkedIn profile that he was recently promoted as a NXT writer.

Maurice Jenkins announced on his LinkedIn profile that he was recently promoted as an Associate Producer.

WWE Files New Trademark
WWE filed a new trademark for “EK Prosper” on March 31st for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
It is currently not known who WWE intends this name to be used for.
