Santos Escobar Says He Needs To Undergo Second Surgery on His Arm
As noted before, Santos Escobar has been out of action for WWE and Lucha Libre AAA since this past March’s AAA Rey de Reyes 2026 event due to a torn triceps injury and surgery.
Escobar provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that he will need to undergo a second surgery on his arm due to him dealing with complications involving the ulnar nerve, which is important for finger and arm movement.
“Hey familia, this is the Emperor of Lucha Libre Santos Escobar with a quick update on WrestleMania week. As you probably already know I went through tricep surgery. There was a minor hiccup on the road with my ulnar nerve, a nerve that runs through my arms so I’m gonna have to go and do surgery again to repair that situation. Kills me not to be there with you this week, but to all of my WWE family, Happy WrestleMania Week!”

Liv Morgan Says She’s Doing Well After Head Injury Incident at 4/6 WWE RAW Show
As noted before, Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez suffered head-related injuries following their backstage segment with WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer at the April 6th episode of WWE RAW in Houston, Texas. Morgan and Perez were placed in WWE’s concussion protocol over concerns of them potentially suffering concussion injuries.
A recent episode of ESPN’s First Take show featured Morgan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Morgan providing an update on her head injury stating that she is currently doing well.
“I’m doing so much better than I’m looking. Thank you for asking. I think that people that accuse wrestling of being fake are ill-informed. You cannot fake this bruising, you cannot fake this swelling. But I’m doing well. And Stephanie Vaquer is so lucky that I’m still pretty [laughs].”
Morgan also gave her thoughts about her upcoming match against Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42.
“I feel like this is 11 years in the making for me. I know I’ve earned this opportunity, so this is my favorite [WrestleMania] already. My whole entire family will be in attendance. But winning will cement this as the greatest WrestleMania of all time, for me personally at least.”
