El Hijo del Vikingo vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for AAA Latin American Title Announced for AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026

Saturday’s AAA TV show at the Auditorio General Jose Maria Arteaga in Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico featured one new match announced for the card of Noche de Los Grandes 2026, which takes place on May 30th at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.

This new match announced was an AAA Latin American Championship match of El Hijo del Vikingo vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage segment involving Vikingo, Dorian Roldan, and Omos. Roldan informed Vikingo that he had secured a title match for him at Noches de Los Grandes and he will be facing off against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American title at the event.

Galeno del Mal Makes Surprise Appearance

Saturday’s AAA TV show also featured former Pro Wrestling NOAH talent Galeno del Mal making a surprise appearance.

During the singles match between El Hijo del Vikingo and Mini Vikingo, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. ran out to prevent Vikingo from using a chair to attack Mini Vikingo while the referee was down. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. grabbed the chair and struck Vikingo with it leading to Mini Vikingo hitting a Phoenix Splash 630 for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Omos ran out and attacked both El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Mini Vikingo leading to Galeno running out to save his promo El Hijo and Mini Vikingo. Galeno and El Hijo cleared the ring of Omos and celebrated together.

Galeno is the real life brother of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.

The Creed Bros Appears & Attacks El Grande Americano

Saturday’s AAA TV show also featured The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) making a surprise appearance.

During the Mask vs. Mask match contract signing segment involving Original El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano, Original gave Dorian Roldan a list of demands he wanted done in order for him to agree to sign the match contract. These demands included no physicality between the two allowed or else the person who attacked first would automatically lose his mask. Another demand was for AAA ring announcer Andrea Bazarte must leave the company now due to her putting her hands on him last time they were together. This led to an upset reaction from El Grande and Bazarte responding stating to just let it be if this is what it takes for him to get Original’s mask. This hyped up El Grande enough that he agreed to the demands and signed the match contract.

Original did the same as well and left the ring. After some words by El Grande, the Creed Bros ran out from the crowd and attacked El Grande. The Creed Bros then sent El Grande through the table laying him out and taunted El Grande as Brutus pulled out a United States flag causing the crowd to boo even more. This led to Los Americanos’ Rayo & Bravo running out to chase the Creed Bros away and checked on El Grande as Original looked on smiling over what just happened to his hated rival.

Saturday’s AAA TV show also featured one new match and one new segment announced for the card of next week’s show on May 9th on FOX Latin America and WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels.
