Paul Wight Comments on His Wrestling Career Future & Mentoring Young Talents in AEW
A recent episode of The Chris Evans Breakfast Show podcast featured Paul Wight as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Wight’s thoughts about the future of his in-ring wrestlijng career and him mentoring young talents in AEW.
“Yes. Do you know the absolute H-E-double hockey sticks (hell) I’ve gone through to get back in the ring? I don’t have to do much at this stage of the game, I’m not competing for championships, I’m not pulling the wagon, working every week. I have a great opportunity with All Elite Wrestling which was very important to me- to be able to help mentor some of the younger talent when they want it, tell them some stories to help them avoid some troubles in life, do the commentating where I can help explain what they’re doing and help develop their characters, and then get in the ring. There are things that I can do in the ring working with them that I know will help them. It’s fun for me because I don’t have to do much. I show up once in a while, everybody’s happy. I come over here, get a nice little pop from the crowd, ‘Oh… we remember him back when he had long hair and a bright future. We’re glad he’s still doing well.’”

Austin Gunn Comments on Him Being ‘Very Proud’ Of Colten Gunn’s Return at May 2nd AEW Collision Show
As noted before, Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Peoria, Illinois featured The Gunns’ Austin & Colten Gunn making a surprise return appearance. This was Colten’s first appearance since this past July due to a knee injury.
Austin Gunn reflected earlier today on Twitter about his brother Colten’s recent return from injury to AEW.
“very proud of my brother!
he worked his ass off the past 6 months to get back in the ring.
working out + rehab every day
then adding practice on top of that.
great example of how not to come back from an injury even fatter than you were lol
ps. he also ate Jay 😂”

Bandido Comments on Potential Future Match with Swerve Strickland
The Sportster held a recent interview with Bandido. One of the topics discussed included Bandido’s thoughts about Swerve Strickland’s vignette on the April 29th episode of AEW Dynamite over Strickland searching for him.
“He came to my world. He came to the Wild West world. So now it’s going to be hard for him. I know he’s the hardest guy and all the things that he said, but I am the most wanted, and I’m going to tell him and I’m going to show him why I am the most wanted.”
Bandido also gave his thoughts about a potential future match with Strickland would be a “big achievement” for him.
“In that kind of match, I think I became a different person. I just changed my wrestling powers, and I just want to do it because I think it’s a new goal for me. Show the people that I am more than just a simple luchador. I can do matches like (in) Swerve’s style and other styles, you know. It’s a big goal and a big achievement if I have that match with him.”
Bandido also gave his thoughts about Darby Allin’s recent victory over MJF to become the AEW Champion and him being hopeful of getting to have a shot against Allin for the title.
“I’m very happy that now Darby is the AEW world champion. MJF sucks. So now it’s good for Darby, and just this last Wednesday, he had a match against my brother, Brody King, which was awesome. I hope I can get a shot against him. If not, well, I’m just going to be focused in this moment in the things that I have already, and then why not try again (for) the AEW World Championship?”
