As noted before, Wardlow has been out of action for AEW since this past August’s Forbidden Door 2025 due to a torn pectoral injury. During his injury abscense, Wardlow was in attendance backstage at this past March’s Revolution 2026 event and also worked on the filming of the recently released American Gladiators reboot series for Amazon Prime.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Wardlow was seen in town ahead of Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 event in Queens, New York.
It was reported that it is currently not known if Wardlow is scheduled to make an appearance at the event nor AEW’s potential plans for him.
