Wardlow, Kamille, Rick Boogs Among Five Wrestlers Set to Join American Gladiators Reboot
As noted before, Amazon is currently working on an American Gladiators reboot television series for their Amazon Prime service. This new reboot will be featuring The Miz as the official host.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that their sources stated that several professional wrestlers have joined the cast for the upcoming new reboot series.
It was reported that AEW talents Wardlow and Kamille, former WWE talents Rick Boogs, and Ohio Valley Wrestling talents Jessie Godderz and J-Rod will be part of the 16-person Gladiators crew for this upcoming new reboot series. It was also reported that all of the Gladiators will have unique names for their characters like the original cast.
It was also reported that former co-host of BET’s 106 & Park series Rocsi Diaz has joined as the sideline reporter and NFL GameDay Final co-host Chris Rose has joined as the play-by-play commentator for this new upcoming reboot series.
Billy Corgan Comments on NWA is Not For Sale & WWE Has Not Asked for Potential Purchase
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Natalya and National Wrestling Alliance owner Billy Corgan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Natalya’s interest in wanting to make more appearances for the NWA in the future following her appearance at this past May’s Crockett Cup 2025 event.
“I just hope that moving forward that I can continue to work for NWA because I plan on taking that championship off that b*tch! Kenzie Paige.”
On the topic of NWA collaborating with WWE, Corgan gave his thoughts about the misconception about the NWA working with WWE and stating that the company is not for sale nor has WWE asked him about it.
“The WWE endorsement, if you even wanna call it that — let’s call it a blessing — shows you that we’ve earned our spot in this game here. We’re not competition by any stretch of the imagination but we are a player now and the other thing I wanna add really quickly is we’re not for sale. A lot of people assumed that the minute that door opened with Nattie, that that night we were gonna be sold. We’re not for sale and WWE has not asked.”
