WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have pitched a match between Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair to potentially take place at this August’s SummerSlam 2026 event on August 1-2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
It was reported that this match was penciled in at one point for the event.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE creative has been waiting for the right time and stage to present a first-time singles matchup between Cargill and Flair. Those involved in the plans reportedly currently believe that this year’s SummerSlam event is the ideal setting and that the time is now for this match to happen. It was reported that plans can always change regarding this potential match.
Flair has been involved in a feud with Cargill of late over recent weeks of WWE SmackDown shows as part of a larger feud that has involved Cargill’s partners Michin and B-Fab and Flair’s partner Alexa Bliss and association with Rhea Ripley.
