Eddie Edwards Says Ricky Sosa’s Current TNA Absence Is Due To “Visas And All That Stuff”

As noted before, Ricky Sosa has been absent from TNA Wrestling since this past March due to him dealing with a personal situation back home in the United Kingdom.

A recent episode of the Scottish Wrestling Network podcast featured Eddie Edwards as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Edwards’ thoughts about the potential of The System adding new members to their group and revealed Sosa’s current abscense from TNA has been due to him dealing with visa-related issues and “other stuff.”

“Right now, I don’t know any, I’m not going to throw any names out there off the top of my head, just because, like I said, there are there’s a lot of talented people around and there’s no doubt about it. But, you know, right now with, within The System, I think for us and, you know, for TNA, we have, we still have some new guys, you know, we have Ricky Sosa who has signed a contract and he hasn’t been on TV recently, visas and all that stuff. So there’s a lot of things that go into it, and it’s hard to… I don’t know, it’s hard to, to find somebody or pick somebody that I’d be like, ‘Oh, they’d be a perfect fit.’ You know what I mean? But there’s plenty of talented people out there. I’m not going to throw any names because I don’t know enough. So that’s where I’ll leave it right now.”
