Maya World Says Her Brother Died in Fatal Car Crash Incident This Past Weekend in Texas

Maya World revealed on Monday on Twitter that her brother, Jatwane Anton Wilson, passed away this past Sunday following a fatal car crash incident in Texas.

World also shared a link to a GoFundMe fundraiser to help financially support her brother’s funeral costs.

“Hello, my name is Dashundra Wilson, i’m the older sister of Jatwane Wilson. In the early morning of June 7th, 2026, my family life had forever been altered unknowingly. Around 3am our grandmother was notified by a state trooper that my brothers life was tragically ended. As this comes unexpectedly, we’re starting a fund for funeral arrangements to give my brother the proper burial he deserves, being so loved by so many. Absolutely ANYTHING helps, and will go towards easing the unexpected expenses my family is now facing. Thank you in advance.”

WFAA reported that Wilson had died on June 7th after being struck by a Mercedes SUV on State Highway 205 near the Kaufman and Rockwall county line in Texas. It was reported that authorities stated that Wilson had been outside a disabled vehicle before entering a lane of traffic when he was struck. It was also reported that Wilson was pronounced dead on the scene while the SUV driver was not injured. It was also reported that an investigation into the fatal accident remains under investigation.

Following her brother’s passing, World reflected on Twitter about the impact her brother had on bother her life and wrestling career.

In a follow-up tweet, World thanked everyone for the support they have shown towards her and her family over their tragic ordeal.
