As noted before, Rebel, real name Tanea Brooks, announced this past May that she was diagnosed with terminal ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). During this past May’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 post-show media scrum, AEW CEO Tony Khan had stated that he wanted to work with the ALS Foundation for a Fight For The Fallen special to benefit people dealing with ALS and its treatment in honor of Rebel. AEW recently released special “Rebel Heart” merchandise with 100% of the profits going to support those affected by ALS. Rebel announced earlier this month that she has become an ambassador for the I AM ALS organization.
Mickey Foley revealed on Instagram that himself and Britt Baker recently visited Rebel. In a photo posted, all three of them were seen wearing the Rebel Heart wristband in support of Rebel’s battle with terminal ALS and her efforts with the I AM ALS organization.
“REBEL HEART!❤️
