Saturday’s live AAA TV show in Merida, Mexico on FOX Latin America and WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels featured AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio making to big announcements.
The first announcement was Lola Vice to be defending her NXT Women’s Champonship against La Heidra at next week’s show on June 26.
The second announcement was him being close to bringing in a former WWE World Champion who has never competed before in Lucha Libre AAA.

Following the show, AAA held tapings for next week’s episode of AAA TV. During the tapings, Damian Priest made a surprise appearance revealing him to be the “former WWE World Champion” who Mysterio had teased.
