TNA, AEW, Josh Alexander, Sami Callihan, & More in Wrestling World Pays Tribute To Joe Doering

As noted before, former All Japan Pro Wrestling and TNA wrestler Joe Doering passed away earlier today following a third battle with brain cancer.

TNA, AEW, Josh Alexander, and others within the wrestling world paid tribute to Doering’s life and legacy.

TNA also posted a playlist collection of Doering’s most memorable matches during his time in the company on their official YouTube channel.

July 1 2022 I wrestled what would be Joe Doering’s last match.

A month prior I’d noticed something was off with Joe. But it never crossed my mind that his cancer might have returned. In my mind he’d already faced that battle and won.

Joe was a throwback to a different era…He was funny, exuded respect, and was everyone’s big brother that he connected with.

My first match in Japan was with Joe.

He took me under his wing and helped me get over with the AJPW fans & office

He taught me so much about Japan and shared his sponsors and knowledge
