Backstage: Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa

We kick things off backstage, where Renee talks to Kenny Omega about what looks to be his biggest and most important match ever tonight. Omega addresses the issues he’s had with his friends over the years, leading to only Michael Nakazawa being in his corner against MJF. He acknowledges that things didn’t go well when they last faced off for the title, but promises things will be different tonight. This may be the last time he says it as he bids us adieu…good night (mwah) and goodbye (bang).

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Chris Jericho

With that, we head to ringside where the crowd is buzzing to get our opening contest going. Out first is Tommaso Ciampa, making his way to the ring while commentary talks about the lineup for tonight. Ciampa backs up toward the entrance screen, waiting to get Jericho in a trap as his music hits…but Jericho takes an alternate path to the ring before going up the ramp to blindside Ciampa!

He starts using the props on the stage, including the deck chairs as his music continues to play. “Judas” finally comes to an end as the crowd are singing along, and Jericho pulls Ciampa down the ramp to bring him into the ring, and we get this match underway!

Jericho chops away at Tommaso in the corner, sending him to the ropes as we notice that Ciampa got cut open earlier. Ciampa tries to escape the ring for a breather, only for Jericho to get the drop on him with a dive to the floor. He gives some love to the front row before bringing Tommaso back into the ring…where Ciampa catches him by surprise with a draping DDT off the middle rope!

He poses, mocking the crowd as he brags that “Ciampa rules” before going back to work on Jericho…who fights back for a Death Valley Driver sending Ciampa onto the apron. He continues the attack, bringing Ciampa onto the ring steps as he looks for a suplex. Ciampa fights him off, clenching a double underhook for a facebuster of sorts into the steps! Ciampa pats himself on the back as we get a replay, and shows some love for a fellow baldie (no, not an ECW Baldie) before going back to work on Jericho.

He stomps away at Jericho before giving Tazz a high five at the announce desk, only to mock Schiavone and Excalibur as we go to ad break.

Both men have returned to the ring, trading strikes back and forth until Jericho sends Ciampa to the corner. He lands some right hands until Tommaso fights back, taking Jericho to the mat with an Air Raid Crash off the second rope! Cover by Ciampa, but it’s only good for a two count. Ciampa hands some chops, setting Jericho up for the Walls…but Jericho fights him off, forcing Ciampa to retreat to the corner. Jericho intercepts him with a hurricanrana, sending Tommaso to the canvas before landing a brainbuster for a nearfall.

Both men trade strikes on their way back to their feet…before dropping down. Ciampa is back up, grabbing a nearby pail of sand that he tries to use on Jericho…who lands a Codebreaker to drive the pail into his face! Cover by Jericho, but Tommaso kicks out. Ciampa gets back up for a running knee, and Jericho eggs him on for a second…to which Ciampa obliges! Cover by Ciampa, but Jericho kicks out…and he blocks a final running knee attempt, bringing Tommaso to the mat for the Walls.

Ciampa crawls to the ropes, where he grabs the pail of sand. The ref pulls the pail away from him, but with her distracted Tommaso grabs a handful of sand and throws it into the face of Jericho before taking the win!

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa via Pinfall.

Ciampa isn’t finished, however, as he grabs a chair from outside to lay out Jericho. He goes under the ring, pulling out a motorized drill as officials rush to the ring to stop him from doing more damage. Ciampa eventually backs off as commentary hypes up the AEW International Championship bout coming up next.

Video: The Brawling Birds

Before we get there, however, we go to a vignette featuring the Brawling Birds as they get into a bar (pub?) fight with some local talent and presumed patrons. The two have a laugh as we go to commercial.

Outdoors: Will Ospreay, MJF

Backstage (earlier today?), Renee talks to Will Ospreay about Kenny Omega’s match for the World Championship. He runs down MJF before saying he’s hoping the All In main event will be Ospreay versus Omega for the World Title. MJF interrupts to poke fun at Ospreay for, among other things, wanting the love and affection of Jon Moxley.

He takes offense at everyone focused on Ospreay main eventing, insisting that Omega will face him with the title on the line when he’s right here. He promises to drop Ospreay on his neck to beat him at All In and retain his title. This gets Ospreay fired up as he talks down on MJF. He says MJF may be the youngest, the longest, and even a multiple time champion, but as far as talent goes he doesn’t crack the Top 50.

This really riles up the champ, who spits in the face of Ospreay before the two start to brawl. Security breaks it up as MJF tells Ospreay that Omega is a dead man tonight, and Dynamite rolls on.

AEW International Championship
Kyle Fletcher vs. Konosuke Takeshita (c)

Back at ringside, Kyle Fletcher makes his entrance for our first title match of the night. Out next is Konosuke Takeshita, and this match is underway!

Fletcher turns his back on the champ to start things off, before the two lock up. Fletcher quickly takes control, sending Takeshita to the mat for a side headlock. Konosuke breaks free and hits the rope, though the challenger is barely fazed as he trades strikes with The Alpha. Standing switch is broken by the champ, who sends the Protostar to the mat.

He brings Fletcher back to his feet before sending him to the corner for some punches. Kyle blocks a hammer throw only to take a forearm, but he hits the ropes for a boot sending the champ to the outside. He leaves the ring, grabbing a bottle of water for a hydration break…only to be laid out on the floor by Takeshita!

Konosuke has some water for himself, mouthing off with Lance Archer and Don Callis before going back to work on the challenger. He brings Fletcher back into the ring, but a distraction from Callis allows Kyle to regain control. He wrings the arm of the champion, but a right hand is blocked as Takeshita goes for a choke hold.

Fletcher breaks free, hitting the ropes before the champ sends him to the outside with a boot…and a dive sends Fletcher to the floor as we go to ad break!

Both men are back in the ring now, trading strikes until Fletcher takes a boot. He blocks a leaping lariat with an uppercut before hitting the ropes…and runs into a Blue Thunder Bomb by the champ! Both men are down until Takeshita gets back to his feet. Fletcher is on the apron as Konosuke looks for a brainbuster, but Kyle blocks it.

He goes for a brainbuster of his own, but the champ breaks free…setting up for a tombstone piledriver onto the hardest part of the ring! He follows up with a wheelbarrow suplex dropping the challenger onto the apron, and both men fall to the floor. Takeshita is the first to his feet, bringing Fletcher back into the ring as he looks for a running knee. Fletcher counters out, but gets taken to the mat with a reverse rana!

Fletcher fights back, dropping the champ with a Michinoku Driver but it’s only good for two. He sends Takeshita to the ropes, where the Alpha lands a big lariat to lay his challenger out. He pulls Kyle to the middle of the ring before going up top, but Kyle intercepts him. He is pushed back but lands a kick to the head of Takeshita…who fires back with a powerbomb sending Fletcher clear across the ring!

He goes for a running knee but is tripped up by Callis, but Fletcher gets caught by the champ with a Raging Fire. Takeshita is hurt as he crawls over for the pin, only for the challenger to grab the bottom rope. Konosuke goes to the corner, dropping his knee pad for a Power Drive Knee…but Fletcher rolls through for a nearfall. He breaks out of a backslide for a running kick…followed by a sheer drop brainbuster!

Cover by Fletcher…but the champ gets a shoulder up just in time. Takeshita looks to take the fight to Fletcher in the corner, but the challenger drops him with a brainbuster onto the turnbuckle for the win.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher via Pinfall to become the new AEW International Champion.

Fletcher celebrates alongside the Don Callis Family, while the Conglomeration checks on their friend Takeshita before we go to commercial break.

In-Ring: Don Callis Family, Mick Foley, “The Jet” Kevin Knight, Andrade El Idolo

Back at ringside, Don Callis starts to talk when he is interrupted by the arrival of Mick Foley, who is acting as special guest interviewer for the night. Schiavone talks about this being Foley’s first time on the TBS network since 1994 as Foley enters the ring, thanking the fans for their cheers before saying this is all about our new International Champion, Kyle Fletcher. He asks Kyle what it felt like having to beat his former best friend Konosuke Takeshita for the title.

Fletcher corrects Foley by saying Takeshita was never his friend, running down the former champion before Callis interrupts. He is not happy about Foley trying to steal the spotlight, but Foley says he wants to talk about a subject Don doesn’t know much about…credibility. When he talks about Kyle being one of the finest young talents alive he means it…but he wants to take a moment to focus on his shoes.

He talks about each shoe representing his dogs, before promising to make one of them “very well acquainted with the inner confines of your a–!” This riles up Calls before he turns his attention to introducing “The Jet” Kevin Knight. Knight jokes that it took Fletcher long enough to finally bring gold back to the Don Callis Family, before reminding everyone of his chase for the World Title to become Kevin 2 Belts.

Out comes Andrade El Idolo, who runs down Don for keeping him away from a shot at gold over the past few months. Callis offers him a chance at a belt, saying if he beats Jake Doyle he can face the meat crusher in Mark Davis for the National Title. The Family looks to go after El Idolo, chasing him backstage where they encounter Darby Allin. He’s got a skateboard in hand but gets beaten down by Doyle and Cage.

Knight is nervous about a nearby backpack, telling Cage to grab the skateboard to lay out Darby with it…only for an explosion to be set off! This distracts the group as we see El Idolo with a controller. They get mad at Andrade, but he asks them how they know before laying into them as we head back to ringside.

Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay) vs. The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake)

Will Ospreay makes his entrance to a big pop for our next match, followed by Jon Moxley coming through the crowd. The Workhorsemen are already in the ring as Mox enters to get this match underway!

Henry and Mox start things off, with Mox quickly taking Anthony to the mat with a drop toe hold. Henry turns things around as he gets a hammerlock on Mox, but the Continental Champion is back up as he exchanges holds with Anthony…who takes Mox to the mat! Mox gets to his feet, laying in some chops on Henry before the latter tags in JD Drake. JD hits some chops of his own on Mox, forcing him to the corner…but Mox catches him with a boot, followed by some chops!

Tag to Henry as the Workhorsemen double-team Mox for a nearfall. Anthony lands a roundhouse kick on Mox, only to be taken to the mat with a dragon screw. Mox with a tag to Ospreay, who fires up with a flurry of offense on Henry to send him to the outside before landing a dive on the Workhorsemen to take us to ad break.

Henry takes control in the ring, dropping Ospreay to the mat before tagging in Drake. They go for a double-team before Ospreay fights back with a hurricanrana and a corkscrew cutter. Tag made to Mox, who sends JD to the outside for a dive. He brings Drake back into the ring and lands a clothesline in the corner, followed by some right hands and a bite to the forehead.

Henry looks to intervene but gets dropped hard by Jon, who gets knocked down by JD. Mox leaves the ring for a breather, with Shafir helping to fire him up before he heads back in. Ospreay comes into the ring for a Styles Clash on Drake as Mox drops Henry with a Paradigm Shift. He lands another one on JD, followed by a Hidden Blade from Ospreay as Mox gets the pin for his team.

Winner: Death Riders via Pinfall.

Ospreay celebrates in the ring as Mox and Shafir leaves through the crowd.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match
Athena vs. Maya World vs. Skye Blue vs. Mina Shirakawa vs. Rina vs. Julia Hart vs. Thunder Rosa vs. Willow Nightingale

Commentary shows some appreciation for Clearwater Beach as hosts for the night before we head back to ringside for our next match. Thekla comes out to keep an eye on who wins a shot at her AEW Women’s World Championship at Redemption, and Mercedes Moné is keeping an eye on things as well from a lifeguard chair as she will face the champion at All In after winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

The first entrant in this Casino Gauntlet is Athena, and our second is her protegé and rival Maya World as this match gets underway!

The two are quick to go after each other, trading offense and nearfalls as they look to end things quickly but to no avail. Athena fights out of the corner, dropping World…only to be taken down hard with a boot by Maya! She hits a fall away suplex into a moonsault from the corner, but only gets a two count as our next entrant comes out…and it’s Skye Blue! She brings a kendo stick to the affairs as she lays into Athena, only for Maya to fight her off for a moment as Blue lays into her with the stick.

Cover by Blue, but Athena breaks it up as the two fight to the outside…where Athena drives Skye into the ring steps as we go to ad break!

We come back just as Mina Shirakawa makes her way out as the next entrant. She goes after all three of the other women in the ring, fending them off until Maya gets a clutch for a nearfall. She makes a beeline for the ring, where she trades forearm strikes with Mina while Blue fights off Athena in the corner. Rina and Mina take down Blue but Mina quickly gets sent out by Rina, who mocks Shirakawa’s shimmy before taking a boot by Athena. Rina fights back with a shotgun dropkick before taking out Maya World. We get a nearfall for Rina as our next entrant comes out…and it’s Julia Hart to round out the Triangle of Madness!

She brings a trashcan lid to the ring, laying out Athena with it before the “Forever Champion” rolls out of the ring to safety. That doesn’t last long as Hart steals a chair from a ringside official to attack Athena…as well as the official! Skye leaves the ring for a chair from the timekeeper area, attacking the announcer along the way…and this turns to the Sisters attacking security as we go to ad break.

Back from break, our countdown brings out the next entrant in Thunder Rosa! She goes right after the Sisters, sending Julia out of the ring before landing a dropkick that drives the trashcan lid into Blue. Hart comes back in but gets taken out for the cover, but Maya breaks the pin. Rosa takes her to the mat for a nearfall before Rina breaks it up as well, and this leads to the two fighting it out. Neckbreaker of sorts gets Rosa a nearfall, only to take an O Face from Athena…but Mina breaks THAT pinfall up!

Mina lays into Athena until she is sent to the mat, but the majority breaks up the pin as the countdown…and our next entrant is Willow Nightingale! Big pop for the former TBS Champion as she heads to the ring, laying out the field to another great reaction. She sends some of the women to the outside, setting up for a cannonball senton sending them to the floor. Athena tries to get the drop on Nightingale…who drops her to the floor with a Death Valley Driver!

She returns to the ring, where the Sisters double-team her. Skye heads to the ropes but is pulled out of the ring by Maya, who hits a Michinoku Driver on her as Willow kicks out of a nearfall by Hart before dropping her with the Babe with the Powerbomb for the win!

Winner: Willow Nightingale via Pinfall.

Willow faces Julia Hart for the title at Redemption…but doesn’t get time to celebrate as Thekla runs into the ring to lay her out! The Sisters go after Moné on the ramp, only to be laid out by Divine Dominion! The tag champs stand tall over the Sisters as Moné takes out Thekla in the ring, standing over the two women standing in her way for a picture perfect moment at All In.

AEW World Championship
Kenny Omega vs. MJF (c)

Up next is our main event as Kenny Omega challenges MJF for the AEW World Championship…and if he loses, Kenny can never challenge for the title again!

We head to ringside for our main event, as Kenny Omega gets an extended introduction hyping up his story heading into tonight’s match. Omega makes his way down the ramp to a big reaction from the crowd. Out next is MJF who gets the Randy Orton style curtain pryo on his way to the ring.

We get introductions for Omega and for MJF, the latter emphasizing that he “kicked out of the One Winged Angel like it was nothing,” before this match gets underway!

The two men stand in the corner before rushing to the center, where Omega lands some hard right hands on the champ. MJF sneaks an attack to gain control, but not for long as Omega counters out before looking for a One Winged Angel…but MJF breaks free, sending his challenger out of the ring instead!

MJF follows him out of the ring, but instead of attacking Kenny further he makes an escape through the crowd! Kenny is back on his feet, following the champ where he manages to intercept MJF…who turns it back around to mock Kenny and the fans with a pose. Kenny fires back with some right hands before directing traffic away from the chairs…so he can launch the champ into them!

Omega brings the champ away from the scene, sending him into another chair before bringing back toward ringside. MJF follows Omega to the outside, but takes a chop before Omega lets him know he Can’t Escape with a rolling front fireman carry slam. He gets on the barricade for a moonsault, but MJF fights back before taking Omega to the floor with a tombstone piledriver! MJF is slow to his feet as he brings the challenger back to the ring.

He sets MJF up for a snap dragon suplex, forcing the champ into the corner for a V-Trigger. He props MJF onto the top turnbuckle as the champ tries to escape. MJF escapes the ring as Omega tries to get back on his feet, and we see the champ grab his title from the timekeeper area. He brings it back into the ring, but the ref catches him and takes the belt away.

MJF starts to pull out his Dynamite Diamond Ring but out comes Will Ospreay, who grabs the ring away from the champ! The ref catches this and has something of an argument with Ospreay while Omega grabs the World Title, looking to hit the champ with it. He decides against it, and MJF takes advantage of this with a low blow! Cover by MJF…and Omega kicks out at one!

Kenny fires back, setting up for multiple V-Triggers and a One Winged Angel…and he gets the pin and the win!
