As noted before, Thursday’s taped AEW Collision show featured Orange Cassidy revealing that Mark Briscoe suffered multiple injuries and is currently out of action following his match against MJF for the AEW World Championship at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show. It was not known at the time if Briscoe’s injuries were legitimate or just for storyline purposes.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources confirmed that Briscoe’s injury is legitimate but the exact nature of it is currently not known.
The severity of the injury nor a potential return timetable for Briscoe is currently known.
