As noted before, TNA producer Sami Callihan departed from TNA Wrestling this past June that was later revealed to have been him being fired from the company as part of a larger “workforce reduction.”
BodySlam.net’s Cassidy Haynes reported that his sources stated that Callihan has been working as a backstage producer for AEW since the July 8th AEW Dynamite Beach Break 2026 show in Clearwater, Florida.
It was reported that Callihan was also seen in attendance backstage at the July 11th AEW Collision show in Roanoke, Virginia and at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Boston, Massachusetts. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Callihan is also expected to be in attendance backstage at tonight’s AEW Collision tapings in Boston.
In regards to Callihan’s contract status with AEW, it was reported that Callihan is currently believed to be working without a contract in AEW at the moment.
