AJPW To Hold Memorial Service for Joe Doering at July 19 Event
As noted before, former All Japan Pro Wrestling and TNA wrestler Joe Doering passed away on June 26 following a third battle with brain cancer.
AJPW recently announced that they will be holding a memorial service for Doering at their Summer Action Series 2026 event on July 19 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
“All Japan Pro Wrestling will hold a memorial service and set up a flower altar for Joe Doering at the ‘Summer Action Series 2026’ event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on Sunday, July 19th, in remembrance of the passing of Joe Doering, who died on June 26th. We will inform you of the start time of the memorial service and the location of the flower altar as soon as they are decided.”
NWA Announces New Competition Based Reality TV Series Called “Into The Fire”
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured NWA National promoter Bryan Idol as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Idol announcing that the National Wrestling Alliance will be debuting a new reality competition series called “Into The Fire” on Comet TV in the near future.
“We at NWA will be debuting a new television show on Comet. I’m not sure the exact release date. The details will be coming soon. The name of the show is ‘Into The Fire…’ It’s gonna be an open casting call. It’s a competition show. It’s gonna come down to eight competitors and you’re gonna get a spot in the NWA, and so, this is a big thing and we’re very happy that Comet picked this up and it’s just gonna be more programming for (NWA) and I don’t know if you guys know, but we’re doing exceptionally well with NWA Powerrr on there.

Stardom recently announced that they have launched two new official YouTube channels with one as a new global channel and the other channel for their Stardom World streaming service.
As noted before, Bushiroad announced this past May that their Board of Directors agreed to transfer all of the company’s shares in NJPW to TV Asashi and CyberAgent Inc. Busiroad’s ownership stake in Stardom was not involved in the deal and will remain as Stardom’s parent company going forward. Bushiroad provided an update on Wednesday releasing an official press release stating that Stardom will now fall under their Live Entertainment Unit department.
New South Pro Wrestling recently announced that Stardom talents Hazuki and Fuwa-Chan will be making their official debut appearances for the company at their Anniversary X event on August 8 in Gadsen, Alabama.
Fightful Select reported that Dark Side of the Ring series co-creator and Executive Producer Evan Husney had told them in a recent interview that there were plans at one point for an episode to be made based on infamous Heroes of Wrestling event in 1999.
Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling recently announced the full field of competitors for this year’s Princess Cup tournament, which takes place from July 20 to August 23 in Japan. The full field of competitors announced were Yuki Arai, Miu Watanabe, Rika Tatsumi, Suzume, Miyu Yamashita, Shoko Nakajima, Hyper Misao, Wakana Uehara, Mizuki, Yuki Aino, Raku, Pomu Harajuku, Mahiro Kiryu, Arisu Endo, Sakura Hattori, HIMAWARI, Toga, Haru Kazashiro, Mifu Ashida, Uta Takami, Chika Nanase, Ren Konatsu, Shion Kanzaki, and Momo Sato.
