Dax Harwood Comments on “There’s Not Another Wrestler In The World That Is As Underrated As Cash Wheeler”

A recent episode of the Cromulent Wrestling podcast featured Dax Harwood as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Harwood’s thoughts about his belief that his FTR tag team partner Cash Wheeler is the most underrated wrestler currently in the world.

“There’s not another wrestler in the world that is as underrated as him. That’s probably my fault because the whole No Flips Just Fists moniker came from me and it was to cover up some of my less fortunes. I can’t fly and I can’t do the pretty acrobatic stuff, but he can. So, he had to scale himself up with the gimmick/character of what FTR and The Revival represented because he can do all of that. He can do things that Rey Fenix can do. Maybe not to the extent of Rey Fenix because he’s one of the incredible athletes I’ve ever seen. He can do the same things as Nick Jackson. Not to the beauty of Nick Jackson, who’s probably the best athlete I’ve ever been in the ring with, but Cash can carry his own for sure. But yes, he’s incredible and I’ve known that. I knew that years before we even came together as a team.”

Harwood also gave his thoughts about his and Wheeler’s tag team match against Cowboy Way (Manders & Thomas Shire) for the RePro Undisputed British Tag Team Championship at Revolution Pro Wrestling’s upcoming 14 Year Anniversary show.

“Maybe patting myself on the back a little too much here, I would expect that just like we did with Aussie Open, I would expect that after this Wembley Arena show with Cowboy Way, I think that after that, you’ll be hearing a lot about both of those guys a lot more.”

Viva Van Reiterates She Is Signed With AEW & Wants To Earn Her “All Elite” Signing Graphic

As noted before, indies talent Viva Van revealed in December of 2024 that she had signed an official contract with AEW. Since her announcement, Van has made sporadic appearances in both AEW and Ring of Honor.

In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, Van stated that she is still signed with AEW and had told AEW CEO Tony Khan that she wants to earn her “All Elite” signing graphic for her career with the company.

I appreciate you all ❤️‍🔥

Just want to clear one thing up. I’ve actually been signed to All Elite Wrestling since December 1st, 2024.

A lot of people don’t know because I never got my All Elite graphic yet, but I told Tony I wanted to earn that moment.

If it’s in God’s will, it’ll happen.

Until then, I’m going to keep showing up, keep proving myself and stay HELLBENT❤️‍🔥”

Mercedes Mone Comments on “It’s Taken A Lot Of Therapy For Me To Stop Blaming Willow Nightingale For Ankle/Foot Injury”

Mercedes Mone recently released a new issue of her Mone Mag fan newsletter. One of the topics discussed included Mone’s thoughts about her match against Willow Nightingale in the Finals of NJPW’s inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s Championship tournament at NJPW’s Resurgence 2023 event and her suffering an ankle and foot injury that caused the finish of their match to be changed and Nightingale becoming the champion. Mone also gave her thoughts about how it took a lot of therapy for her to stop blaming Nightingale for the injury that put her out of action for a long time.

“But there was something else happening during that time. I was hurt, and when you’re hurt, you have A LOT of time to think. Willow and I had already crossed paths in 2023, and for a long time, I carried feelings about what happened to me in that match. It’s taken a lot of therapy for me to stop putting the blame on her. It was a freak accident. But I’m not going to pretend there weren’t moments where I replayed everything in my head. Her positioning. Her hands on the ropes and turnbuckle. Not having enough room to fully get my foot onto that top turnbuckle. Over, and over, and over again. That’s what happens when you’re injured. Your body stops, but your mind doesn’t. Eventually, though, I started asking myself a different question. Maybe God wasn’t telling me to stop wrestling. Maybe God was telling me to slow down. To heal, and not just physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually. Because at that point in my life, I was putting on the strongest face I could possibly find within myself.”
