Nino Hamburguesa Makes Surprise Return

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico featured Nino Hamburguesa making his surprise return to Lucha Libre AAA.

Hamburguesa was revealed as the #15th and final entrant in this year’s Copa Bardahl battle royal match.

This was Hamburguesa’s first appearance in AAA since his release from WWE and AAA this past March due to a fan incident at an indies event in Mexico that turned physical over Hamburguesa attacking a fan.


Omos Wins 2026 Copa Bardahl

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured Omos winning this year’s Copa Bardahl battle royal match.

The order of entrants were Mr. Iguana, Abismo Negro Jr., Histeria, Mascarita Sagrada, Taurus, El Fiscal, Laredo Kid, Mecha Wolf, La Parka, El Mesias, Dinamico, Texano Jr., Omos, Chris Carter, and Nino Hamburguesa.

The order of eliminations were Histeria, El Fiscal, Taurus, Histeria, Dinamico, Texano Jr., Laredo Kid, El Mesias, Mecha Wolf, La Parka, Chris Carter, Mr. Iguana, Mascarita Sagrada, and Nino Hamburguesa.

This was the second year in a row that Omos won the Copa Bardahl and second time in his AAA career.


La Catalina Wins AAA Reina de Reinas

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured La Catalina defeating Flammer to become the new AAA Reina de Reinas Champion.

This was La Catalina’s first-ever AAA Reina de Reinas Championship victory in her AAA career.

This also was the end of Flammer’s record setting AAA Reina de Reigns title reign at 1,128 days.

As a result of her victory, La Catalina will be defending her title against Roxanne Perez at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2026 on September 26 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Pagano Makes Surprise Return & Turns Heel on Psycho Clown and Aligns With El Carnicero

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured Pagano making his surprise return from “injury.”

During the Mexican Street Fight match between Psycho Clown and El Carnicero, Psycho got his arms trapped in the ropes leading to El Carnicero smiling and left the ring to grab a toolbox to use as a weapon. Before El Carnicero could use it, Pagano’s music played and came out to the ring grabbing a kendo stick off the floor. Pagano and El Carnicero had a staredown that ended with Pagano giving a smirk and stood to the side next to El Carnicero watching him lay out Psycho with a toolbox for the pinfall victory. Pagano then handed his kento stick to El Carnicero who struck Psycho with it and the two stood tall together over a fallen Psycho.

Prior to his return, Pagano had been out of action for the past couple of months after being attacked backstage by a mystery attacker. Pyshco had originally accused Pagano of being the mystery attacker of Pyscho Circus before Pagano was taken out in an unseen attack and Pyscho apologizing for ever blaming his friend and vowed to get revenge.


Perros del Mal Uses Cartel de Santa’s “Perros” Song

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel, Berto, & Karmen Petrovic) using the iconic “Perros” song from Cartel de Santa for their appearance.

Prior to the start of the AAA Cruiserweight Championship Fatal Four-way match, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix walked passed by Perros backstage who were giving a menacing look back.

Following Fenix defeating Mini Vikingo, Jack Cartwheel, and Nathan Frazer in a Fatal Four-way to retain his title, Perros were seen backstage telling a production staff member to play the that was synonymous with the original Perros group. This led to the original “Perros” theme song being played and the group coming out to a roaring ovation from the crowd. Perros then proceeded to lay out Fenix, Mini Vikingo, Cartwheel, and Frazer in the ring. Perros then each went to a separate corner and posed from the turnbuckles pleased at their actions.


The Wagner Brothers Wins AAA World Tag Titles

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured The Wagner Brothers (Galeno & El Hijo de. Dr. Wagner Jr.) defeating War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) to become the new AAA World Tag Team Champions.

The Wagner Brothers were revealed to be the mystery opponents for the War Raiders’ open challenge match at the event.

This was the Wagner Brothers first-ever AAA World Tag Team Championship victory in their AAA careers.


El Grande Americano Wins AAA Mega Title

Sunday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 event also featured El Grande Americano defeating Dominik Mysterio in a No Disqualification match to become the new AAA Mega Champion.

This was El Grande’s first-ever AAA Mega Championship victory in his AAA career.
