AEW Pays Tribute To “The Butcher” Andy Williams With 10-Bell Salute and AEW Wrestlers Pays Tribute To Williams

Saturday’s AEW Collision show at the MassMutal Center in Springfield, Massachusetts featured AEW holding several tributes in memory of the late “The Butcher” Andy Williams.

This included a ten-bell salute in honor of his memory at the start of the show and several tribute videos throughout the show featuring members of the AEW roster and company reflecting on their memories of Williams and how much he meant in their lives and in wrestling.

The Blade Sends Special Tribute Letter To The Butcher

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured The Blade sending an official statement in tribute to his former longtime tag team partner The Butcher that was read by AEW commentator Tony Schiavone.

AEW Blood & Guts 2026 Announced For This November In Jacksonville, FL

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured the announcement of this year’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts show will be taking place on November 4 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

This will be the first time that AEW will be holding a Blood & Guts show in Jacksonville since 2021.

Daniel Garcia Wins The Butcher Battle Royale

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured Daniel Garcia winning The Butcher Battle Royale.

The competitors in this match were Garcia, AR Fox, Ortiz, Wheeler Yuta, The Beast Mortos, Jake Doyle, Dante Martine, Darius Martin, Lance Archer, Claudio Castagnoli, Eddie Kingston, and Josh Alexander.

This match was held in honor of “The Butcher” Andy Williams and him holding the record for most battle royale eliminations in AEW history.

As a result of his victory, Garcia received a prize of $100,000 to donate in Williams’ name to a charity of their choosing.
