Darby Allin Comments on Why He Goes All Out In His Matches

A recent episode of the Good Karma Wrestling podcast featured Darby Allin as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Allin’s thoughts about why he constantly goes all out in terms of risky spots for his matches in AEW.

“It honestly feels like you got to step up. There’s no room to have an off night. I remember watching the show before I went on in Mexico. And I was like, ‘Wow, these matches are insane. This is insane.’ Like I was like, ‘There’s no such thing as an off night.’ Because if you take an off night, people are going to see through it.
And most importantly, the guys in the back are going to see through it. They’re like, ‘Ah, here he is phoning it in,’” he continued. “”It’s like, ‘No, we don’t have time for that.’ So, like, let’s treat it with the respect it deserves. That’s what we do every night.
So everybody’s like, ‘You got to take it easy. You know, it’s Collision or it’s Dynamite. You got to take it easy. Wait for the pay-per-view.’ Like, no. Every week to me is a pay-per-view.”

Hangman Adam Page To Donate His Earnings From Sept. 26th PWT Live Auction Stream To Charity

Hangman Adam Page recently announced on Bluesky that he will be participating in a stream on PWTLive.com during this afternoon’s AEW All Out Afternoon Block Party event to autograph several items for auction.

Page stated that he will be donating all of his earnings generated from this live stream to the Clean Air Task Force non-profit organization.

Dax Harwood Comments on “I Think It’s Almost Undeniable To Say That AEW Is The Home For Tag Team Wrestling”

SB Nation held a recent interview with FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. One of the topics discussed included Harwood’s thoughts about the current state of AEW’s tag team division and how his and Cash Wheeler’s excitement for the division is at an all time high for them. Harwood also gave his thoughts about his belief that AEW is the home for tag team wrestling.

“It’s more exciting in AEW now than it’s ever been in our whole time here, and that’s the honest-to-God truth. We’ve got some young Teams like the Gunn Club, Austin and Colton, we’ve got young teams like the Rascalz that are coming in and trying to take over the spot from FTR. On top of that, you also have some of the greatest tag teams of all time. Obviously FTR, The Young Bucks, and Cope and Cage, but now with the Austin Creed and, and Kofi, you’ve got The New Level, one of the greatest tag teams of all time. You’ve got Motor City Machine Guns, another set of guys who can lay claim as the greatest tag team of all time. So if you got five of the top tag teams in the last 30 years in one company under one roof, with some of the greatest young talent in the world, I think it’s almost undeniable to say that AEW is the home for tag team wrestling.”

Harwood also gave his thoughts about how he had pitched for Stokely Hathaway to join their team to AEW CEO Tony Khan.

“Fast forward in AEW towards the end of 2021, beginning of 2022, I had talked to Tony, and I said: ‘Hey, I think there’s a guy whose contract is coming up soon, and I think he’d be a great addition for AEW, but I think on top of that, he’d be a great addition for FTR and be our Jim Cornette,’ and that was Stokely.”

Wheeler responded giving his thoughts about how Hathaway is good at whatever he wants to be good at.

“Yeah, and behind the scenes, Stokely is a slick businessman, so it makes sense to have him with us, but in front of the camera, he is such a talent, and he is so good at whatever he wants to be good at. If he wants to be funny, he can be funny. If he wants to be serious, he can be serious. He’s so good at all facets of it, and he brings a different element to us, a different style, a different personality.”

Harwood also gave his thoughts about how he doesn’t know if FTR will ever split with Hathaway.

“I don’t know if we could ever go for the rest of our careers without FTR and Stokely being together.”

AEW All Out 2026 Ticket Sales Update

WrestleTix reported that AEW has sold and distributed around 9,338 tickets for tonight’s All Out 2026 event at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois as of Saturday morning.
