“Speedball” Mike Bailey Officially Joins United Empire

Wednesday’s three-hour AEW Dynamite and Collision show at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana featured “Speedball” Mike Bailey officially becoming the newest member of the United Empire stable.

During the show, Bailey was seen backstage with Will Ospreay and Francesco Akira for an interview with Renee Paquette ahead of Bailey and Ospreay’s tag team match against the Death Riders. Ospreay offered Bailey membership into his branch of the United Empire in AEW. Bailey was reluctant at first to join and brought up his past history with having partners in AEW before accepting in the end.

AEW World Trios Titles Match Made Official For All Out 2026

Wednesday’s three-hour AEW and Collision show also featured Swerve Strickland & The New Level (Kofi & Austin Creed) defeating The Demand (Toa Liona, Bishop Kaun, & Ricochet) to retain their AEW World Trios Championship.

As a result of their victory, Strickland & The New Level will officially be defending their titles against The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (Hangman Adam Page, Bandido, & Brody King) at All Out 2026.

TBS Title Open Challenge Set For AEW All Out 2026

Wednesday’s three-hour AEW Dynamite and Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of All Out 2026, which takes place on September 26 at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

This new match announced was a TBS Championship Open Challenge match of mystery opponent vs. Persephone (c).

.@RealBrittBaker and Persephone have a message for @thunderrosa22 and @_thehyan!

Next week is coming, but this Saturday, the TBS Champion wants someone to step up!

Nick Wayne vs. Chris Jericho Set for AEW Grand Slam France

Wednesday’s three-hour AEW Dynamite and Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of Grand Slam France, which takes place on October 6 at the Adidas, Arena in Paris, France.

This new match announced was a singles match of Nick Wayne vs. Chris Jericho.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Wayne and Jericho’s bad blood issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Jericho was seen in the ring and called out Wayne who came out. After some heated banter between the two, Wayne stated that he would not lose to Jericho again and issued a challenge to him at Grand Slam Mexico. Jericho responded accepting the challenge to make it official.
