This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Birmingham, Alabama featured Otis defeating Austin Theory by disqualification in a singles match after The Vision interfered. This match was notable for a post-match attack by The Vision to Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Oba Femi and “Big” Bronson Reed putting his foot on Femi’s back while Femi was on the ground only for Femi to visibly look upset and brushed off Reed’s foot.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that there was “definitely” backstage chatter after the segment specifically in regards to Femi pushing Reed’s foot away from him.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that this moment was not something that was scripted for the segment and instead had caught some people backstage off guard when it happened. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that some of those backstage were not happy about Femi’s actions.
It was also reported that Femi currently does not have any real backstage heat over the situation that took place on the show.
