WWE announced one new match for the card of Money in the Bank 2026, which takes place on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This new match announced was a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match of LA Knight vs. Roman Reigns (c).
This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Knight’s bad blood issues with Reigns and The Bloodline. Following Reigns’ victory over Penta to retain his WWE World Heavyweight title on Monday’s WWE RAW show in Mexico City, Knight came out to the ring and confronted Reigns. This led to Reigns grabbing a microphone and when he turned around, Knight laid him out with a BFT and grabbed Reigns’ title and posed with it.
