TNA Parent Company’s Anthem Lawsuit Against Gail Kim Update

As noted before, TNA Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, LLC, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, filed a preemptive lawsuit against TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim this past January in response to Kim informing the company of her intent to potentially file a lawsuit against them. Kim had claimed that Anthem was in violations of the Florida Private Whistleblower Act in regards to the issues over her firing from TNA in March of 2025.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that a status conference for Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions’ lawsuit against Kim is currently scheduled to take place on November 20 based on recent court records from the Nashville Chancery Court in Tennessee.

Johnson reported that the purpose of this conference hearing is to update the court on where things stand for AWE’s lawsuit against Kim.

AWE is currently asking for the court to declare that Kim worked for TNA only as an independent contractor and not as an employee. AWE is also asking the court to enforce the terms in Kim’s contract that requires any disputes to be litigated in Tennessee and not in Florida.

AWE is also currently seeking an award of “reasonable” attorneys’ fees and court costs.

MLW Teases New TV Deal

As noted before, Major League Wrestling’s television deal with beIN Sports was set to expire at the end of this past August after MLW had notified beIN Sports that they would not be renewing their deal with the network.

MLW recently released a new video on their official YouTube channel teasing a new television deal has been signed for the company.

“Some things can’t be stopped. They closed the door. We kept fighting.”

PRODUCE Wrestling announced that The Blade recently signed a multi-fight deal with the company. It was also announced that The Blade will be making an appearance at their Volume 5: Skoden event on October 12 in Brooklyn, New York and Volume 6: Hell Comes To Dogtown event on October 22 in Los Angeles, California.

PRODUCE also recently announced that “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith, Darian Bengston, JTG, and Nixi XS will be making an appearance for the company at their Volume 6: Hell Comes To Dogtown event on October 22 in Los Angeles.

Big Time Wrestling recently announced that Jeff Cobb will be making an appearance for the company at their Honor, Glory & Big Time: 30 Years of Big Time Wrestling! event on October 18 in San Jose, California.

Absolute Intense Wrestling recently announced that ECW legend and TNA Hall of Famer Raven will be holding a wrestling seminar on October 10 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Indies wrestler Stephen Wolf recently announced on Twitter that he will be out of action indefinitely due to a neck injury.

This past Saturday’s NWA Powerrr show on Comet TV featured Sirena Veil defeating Gisele Shaw to become the new NWA World Women’s Television Champion.
