Samoa Joe Comments on Queen Aminata, Trish Adora, & Action Andretti Having Untapped Potential In AEW

TV Insider held a recent interview with Samoa Joe. One of the topics discussed included Joe’s thoughts about his choices of talents that he believes people should be paying attention to in AEW.

“I think Queen Aminata. There is a ton of potential that is kind of unrealized there. I would say the same thing with Trish Adora. I think those are two talents that I consistently see where maybe their best is still kind of in front of them. On the men’s side, there are also a lot. I’d say (Action) Andretti. I think him being given more opportunity and given more spots could be quite the force to be reckoned with.”

“Speedball” Mike Bailey Comments on Him Being Hesitant To Join Another Group In AEW & It Was Interesting Being A Lone Wolf

Fightful held a recent interview with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. One of the topics discussed included Bailey’s thoughts about him recently joining Will Ospreay’s United Empire group and how he was initially hesitant to join another group in AEW.

“There was some hesitation in joining a group once again. I think AEW has a lot of factions and it is interesting to be a lone wolf, but obviously, I think those groups tend to to drag each other up, which is great. However, the last team I was in did not end very well. So having been hurt in the past, there was some hesitation, but when I talked about it with Will and saw the other members that were in it—I think Andrade is absolutely a top star in AEW right now. There is no doubt about it. He is doing his best work and it’s amazing to watch him being a part of the United Empire.”

Bailey also gave his thoughts about how teaming with Ospreay can help him get to the next level for his AEW and wrestling career.

“Will Ospreay, I was thinking back when it was brought up to his match with Kenny Omega at All In, which I was completely blown away watching, thinking not only this is the best pro wrestling that we have ever seen, this is some of greatest stuff in history that I am seeing being written before my eyes, but also thinking this is exactly where I believe I belong. I want to prove that, and I want to get there, and I know that I can reach that level, and who better to take me there than Will Ospreay.”

Anthony Bowens Expired AEW Contract & AEW Career Future Update

As noted before, Anthony Bowens’ contract with AEW officially expired on October 1.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that there has been no word of AEW’s current plans for The Opps regarding Bowens based on his sources spoken to. Sapp reported that Bowens was still around in AEW the week of the PAC tribute episode of AEW Dynamite.

Sapp speculated that there is probably some interest in AEW in potentially retaining Bowens.

In regards to other potential destinations for Bowens, Sapp reported that he has not heard of any interest in Bowens from TNA Wrestling but if he ends up becoming a free agent, TNA would likely be interested in him.
