Backstage Update on Reason for Komander’s Recent AEW Abscense

Komander has been absent from AEW and Ring of Honor since this past September. Komander last wrestled at CMLL’s Domingo Familiar show on September 20 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the reason for Komander’s current abscense from AEW is due to him dealing with an undisclosed injury.

Meltzer reported that the current belief within AEW is that Komander is expected to make his return from injury soon.

No other details were given regarding the nature of Komander’s injury.
