WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Event Status Update – Crown Jewel Still Planned For Riyadh & WWE Having Backup Plans For U.S. City Location

WWE is currently scheduled to be holding their Crown Jewel 2026 event on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This upcoming event’s status in Saudi Arabia has been uncertain following the United States Department of State issuing an official update this past September to their existing Level 3 travel advisory in regards to Saudi Arabia over issues involving the Iran war. The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh had issued a new security alert this past Saturday warning their citizens in the country following missile attacks on the King Khalid International airport in Riyadh that left several dead and escalated violence between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis.

The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that WWE officials still have plans to hold their upcoming Crown Jewel event in Riyadh as of this morning.

Alvarez reported that WWE officials also have backup plans in place for the event to take place in a city in the United States in case they are unable to travel and hold it in Saudi Arabia.

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque had released earlier today on Twitter the official poster for this year’s event that currently has Riyadh listed as the location.
