Steven Borden Reflects on His Concussion Injury at AEW All Out 2026 & Being Excited To Return To Action

First Coast News held a recent interview with Steven Borden and Darby Allin. One of the topics discussed included Borden’s thoughts about the injury he suffered at this past September’s AEW All Out 2026 event revealing he had suffered a concussion and him feeling great for his recent return to action.

“It feels great to be back. So I got concussed, I was knocked out for a little bit. It’s weird though because with injuries, like when you’re sidelined, normally you can feel it, like you tore something in your knee or whatever. And so you know as much as you want to get back in the action, you can’t. But for me, I felt fine. So it’s just this weird thing of, like, I wanted to be back out there, but I couldn’t. And now that I’m back, it feels pretty dang good.”

Allin responded to Borden’s comments about him only being knocked out for a little bit and revealed that he was “snoozing” for six minutes after he got hurt.

“A little bit? You were snoring for six minutes straight. It wasn’t a little bit. It was a lot of bit.”

Borden made his official return from injury at the October 21st episode of AEW Dynamite and is currently scheduled to compete in this year’s Men’s Blood & Guts match at this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026 show in Jacksonville, Florida. Borden will be teaming up with Allin, The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland, and Will Ospreay against the Don Callis Family.
