A factor that contributed to WWE’s recent revenue loss was because their TV deal in France expires on July 4, and the deal will not be renewed. WWE debuted on NT1 in France in 2006. However, the ownership of NT1 changed hands since that time, and the network no longer believes WWE fits into their programming vision.
WWE will still have a presence on cable and satellite in France, but they will lose network revenue as a result of losing the TV deal.
