Fernando of Los Matadores (Orlando Colon/Epico) suffered a knee injury at yesterday’s house show in Newark, DE. According to fans in attendance, the injury took place during a six-man tag match that featured Los Matadores and El Torito vs. Hornswoggle, Tyson Kidd and Heath Slater.
Fernando was taken to the back by medics while the match was still in progress. The referee threw up the “X” sign as soon as he went down and WWE’s medical staff immeditly came out and took him to the backstage area.
There were also live reports from fans who were in attendance that Fernando was seen after the show on crutches, with his knee taped up.
