Rumor On Who The Big Name Returning On RAW Is

WWE.com has announced that a former WWE Champion is returning tonight on RAW. The article seems to be teasing the return of Brock Lesnar; it describes the person as “a cross-platform entertainer who has found numerous successes outside of the squared circle.”

Lesnar is slated to return at SummerSlam so it would make sense now that Cena has the title and all advertising is listing Lesnar vs. Cena at SummerSlam. They may just announce the match tonight where Lesnar challenges Cena now that word has already leaked out. Of course, it could also refer to The Rock, Steve Austin or several others but Rock and Austin are unlikely.

It could also be Ric Flair as there has been talk of him returning now that Money in the Bank is over. As reported, Flair recently passed his medical tests and is ready to return. There was some talk of him returning alongside The Miz as early as this week’s TV tapings.

It could also simply be The Miz …. with no Ric Flair. He’s a former Champion and “a cross-platform entertainer who has found numerous successes outside of the squared circle.”
