— Prior to being injured and undergoing neck surgery, WWE had plans to do a Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan feud. That leaves potential feuds with both Kane and Randy Orton for Bryan when he’s able to return. Of course, it all depends on if they still want to go that route when and if Bryan is able to return. It also depends on whether or not he will need a second neck surgery.
— UPDATE: WWE Smackdown scored a 2.02 (2.0) cable rating, which is up 10% from last week’s 1.84. It’s the best number since the March 28th show scored a 2.08.
— ORIGINAL: Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown scored three million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the 18 – 49 demo. Those numbers are up 8% and a tenth from last week’s, which was itself a strong number. The viewership is the highest since the March 28th pre-WrestleMania show did 3.06 million and the demo rating is the best since the March 10th episode did the same.
