In a dark match prior to the Royal Rumble PPV, Kelly Kelly, The Bellas, Gail Kim, & Eve defeated Alicia Fox, Katie Lee Burchill, Maryse, Jillian Hall, and Nattie Neidhart. Kelly Kelly pinned Jillian Hall with a cross body off the top rope for the win.

There were apparently problems with the commercial feed for the WWE Royal Rumble PPV, causing problems with the broadcast in bars and other commercial venues.
