— Entertainment industry publication Variety.com is reporting that a new show about ‘little person’ pro wrestling called “Half Pint Brawlers” is coming to Spike TV in June. Spike has ordered six half-hour episodes of the show, which will examine the increasing popularity of little-person wrestling as an underground sport. Variety writer Steve Levine seems totally unaware that TNA Wrestling airs on Spike TV, as he writes, “Spike TV, once home to WWE wrestling, is getting back in the ring with “Half Pint Brawlers.”
— Vince Russo’s Rope Opera: How WCW Killed Vince Russo, which was originally scheduled to be released today, has been pushed back to Mar. 1. The book features an interesting cover as Sting and Mick Foley are pictured alongside Russo.
— Homicide, who was merely used for an Xplosion match during TNA’s most recent set of television tapings, posted a few interesting thoughts regarding his status with the company on the tagboard of a Homicide fansite (homicide187.fansites.me). Here is what he wrote: lucha thug: i wont be on tv 2 more weeks , BS polotics, sorry lucha thug: on the real , as the backstage issues going on, i feel in to be a start in tna cause bunch of bull**** going on, i thank u for putting this site support me, in now it weeks im gmy gut i never going. lucha thug: star lucha thug: going to see where my future holds The owner of the site confirmed that it is indeed the TNA star himself posting.
