Last week it was reported that WWE had released Ricky Steamboat from his contract. Steamboat had started taking several booking, including conventions and shoot interviews. Now, it seems WWE may have brought him back.
Steamboat reached out to the non-WWE promoters and told them that he would no longer be able to appear for them unless they reached out to WWE for approval. That is normal procedure for someone under a WWE deal.
