Zack Ryder’s loss to Rusev could be a statement from WWE officials. Ryder had been posting negative comments on Twitter, similar to what JTG did back in 2012. When JTG did it, he was squashed quickly by Ryback, similar to how Ryder lost to Rusev last night.
According to someone very close to Ryder, he expects to be released sooner rather than later and has already been preparing for life after WWE. As you’d imagine, he’s been frustrated for months now and has basically “given up.”
